yamaha mastered 4 stroke and is now done with sleds, polaris is plagued with poor quality and recals, bombardier has cranked up their prices and dropped quality and arctic cat has just announced it is also stopping snowmobile production. in all the prices are terribly high and manufacturers expect consumers to buy new sleds almost ever year

WISH yamaha Would Hire me. To bring back a YAMAHA snowmobile for 2026. . with my 155 000 miles of time on the trails since I was 2. I deff could build a snowmobile. People want!!! An that fills all the needs. Reliable, Smooth, Handles wells, Good seat. Good wind protection, Good range. Good low snow capability. Even the Cat/Yamaha was an Ok ish snowmobile. But a better one can be made. The mountain guys got all the hype and support for year. Loosing out on the low snow crowd in the east.

Another one bites the dust...only 3 left, Not surprised at all. With the absurd cost of sleds now and the fact that you pretty much have to own a trailer if you own a sled. It's like owning a boat when you live in the desert. There was a time when you could buy a top of the line sled for a grand and ride from November to April just by opening the garage door. Well you know what they say all good things must come to an end.....

Yamaha's Problem is not the F25, it''s the F30, which is 50% heavier (98kg !) than the F25 while only delivering 5HP more. For comparison, Suzuki's DF30 is only 72kg. 12% heavier than the Yamaha F25.
