@@benlefler6304 because of floating point errors. This happens in many languages and with many number combinations. Basically, you can't properly represent denary (the normal number system) fractions in binary, e.g. 1/10. So the computer might store a value really really close to 0.1, but it's off by 0.0000000001 or something like that. The most well known example of this is 0.1+0.2 equalling 0.300000004 (number of 0s might be wrong). So yeah. Not the only time you'll see numbers off by really small amounts when working with computers, and definetly not an intended feature, it's just the limitations of binary.
