I hope Mira put more effort into their shower manufacturing than they do with instruction videos. Is it company policy to miss out important parts and only do a half job???

Is there a video installation guide for this to support the instructions. Im looking to replace a pre existing Mire Vigour with the same model 10 years on. I reckon the installation be easier because of this(electrician installed initial one).

I'd like to have a riser kit for ease of later maintenance but there's nothing about the central support. It's a solid construction but not a lot about installing the feet/pillars.

I've got one of these and the flex head keeps dropping down with the weight of the shower head AND the head droops down no matter what angle you start off with. Does anyone know how to fix this fixture. I've been through 3 so far. At present I have a steel rule as a shim lodged between the flex head connector and the rail to at least keep the shower head away from hitting me in the head every 30 seconds. Any ideas much appreciated; I'm thinking of ripping the whole rail off the wall and starting again.

At 2:18 you don’t show the orientation of the spring washer things behind the retaining nuts. But they look like they are on backwards compared to the way they are shown in your diagrams in the booklet. Can you confirm that the ‘fins’ should point away from the wall as shown in the diagrams? Or towards the wall as they appear to be in this video. ??

You don't show aligning the valve up first before the shroud goes on!!!!! How do I get the shroud off again?

Hello. Thanks for this video. We got a new Mira Hose and I've screwed one end successfully onto the shower head but I'm having a problem unscrewing the old hose from the Shower unit itself. It seems to be stuck. Could It be a limescale issue? Thanks for any advice

Nice helpful video. Thank you. An improvement would be to improve your cable stripping technique ( and pictures 1:29 ) the copper should NOT be damage as result of cable stripping. Damaged copper can create resistive host spots that can result in fires.

Every other shower: Let's all use the same 150mm pipe centres Mira: naaah fam. I'm going with that 50mm centre to centre look. So if aaaaaanyyyyything goes wrong, they need to come back crawling to me. Other showers: ...but what if you discontinue the 50mm range...? Mira: ...🤷‍♂️... sounds like someone else's problem Ps. These things are hopeless because the lip isn't flush with the shower tray so there's basically a permanent moat around it that doesn't drain. Whenever you've been to the beach this fills up with sand so you end up with a visible grubby ring of sand and other dirt sitting permanently around your waste. With our old shower sand and mud used to just easily wash straight down the drain, but with this useless thing you have to get down on your knees and swish it all out with an old toothbrush every time. Pathetic design. Also it's impossible to get the shiny plastic cap back on unless again you're grovelling on your knees with your head on the wet shower tray to see under it and it feels extremely flimsy. Disappointing.

Hi can you please advise me , I am replacing my old Myra Max Sport 10.8Kw approx 15yr old with a new Myra Max 10.8Kw. Will the old positions of the fittings be the same as the new one..

I have one exactly the same only the hose won’t unscrew from the shower box, I had to call an engineer to open it, just to change the hose. 😕
