165 lb max on the roof rails is pretty common. Not as good as 220 lb for a Santa Fe of course, but this is unusually high.
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta 8 сағат бұрын
165lbs is pretty standard, but in this case from what I could find that is the static and dynamic weight limit where other vehicles would have a higher static limit than the 165lb limit and that was the real issue for me. I have seen many Rav4s and Subarus with RTTs and they don't have those same issues.

Another great video! I have the same truck. I keep going back and forth on the Wildpeaks AT4W. I was thinking 275/70r17 Load C, but I'm worried about the size not being OEM recommended. Would I be happy with the OEM 265/70r17 SL?? I drive highway, tow and run moderate OF trails.
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta Күн бұрын
You're not really getting a much taller tire with the 275, it's more width, and probably heavier. I'm not sure what a moderate off-road trail means for you either, but we did plenty of easy to moderate trails in Colorado, according to Trails off road with no issues this summer and the hwy ride is really good. Only you can decide if you're going to be happy though. My only advice is if you want bigger tires, you may as well go with them right away. I ended up swapping to the 255/70/R17 this fall and wasted money money because of that. Those are true 33s, but E rated. Same AT4Ws though. Best of luck with the decision.

Great videos! Subscribed! I'm looking at getting the AT4W's for my 2024 TRD OF, however would like to stay as close to stock as possible in a 6 ply load C. I drive a mix of highway, some moderate OF and tow a 2000lbs tear drop camper. Do you think the 275/70 R17 load C AT4W would be a good compromise?
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta 4 күн бұрын
Yeah, I think they would be a good choice for staying close to stock. BTW I just drove through 2 mountain snow storms on a long trip and they performed excellent.

@@BenInBeta Ok, I did order those tires up and now considering the wheels you choose. How do I determine the size? What did you go with.
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta 3 күн бұрын
@medical4855 they're 17in wheels, but basically I'd used the discount tire and tire rack to help determine the right offset. If you're ordering through them they'll help you get the right ones.

We have the same fridge and curious how you secure it in the bed of the truck (with and without the cover)
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta 4 күн бұрын
I use Rollercams. One in the front tied around the handle and down to the floor tie down and another in the rear of the fridge tied to the rail tie down. I also have the TMAT bed slide system and use that on the rear corners to keep it where I want it. Hopefully that's helpful, but maybe I'll do a video about it in the future too.

Hey there, just wanted to chime in on this discussion. It's not quite fair to compare the two prices, they're not even in the same league. If you're looking to pit the Hover Air Pro Max against something, you should probably be comparing it to the DJI Mini 3 Pro or the Mini 4 Pro, don't you think? 🤔
@BenInBeta
@BenInBeta 8 күн бұрын
As I recall I said that in the video, however this is less about price and more about category. The Mini 3 cannot be flown without a controller correct? But I do understand where you are coming from. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback, I think this still applies no matter how you decide to detail though. Ran across this a bit late. If anyone is wondering what is different between the 23 and the 2024 - airbags.. two extra in the rear and rear seatbelt pretensioners. So if you are shopping for a used NX4 - that is the biggest difference. (no large kids/adults in back - go with the 23 an save money because slightly older) I have an SEL; getting a good bit better MPG, but I am also FWD with what I assume is a lighter wheel/tire combo. 40 or a bit more on pure highway tanks. Lifetime us about 29 right now. Commute avoids city traffic for now but I cant avoid it all where I am located. My biggest gripe that I solved; I do not like Hyundais auto start/stop. Stops before I am 100% stopped at times and slow to get going again. Also.. picks weird times to do its thing. The only thing I haven't seen with mine that you mentioned a lag getting on the gas. The only time I have had that issue is when its engine off from the ISG because its taking a bit to get going. Other than that - it just goes. Also on the needing sport; mine has way more air to breath on the coast vs Colorado. So that is likely why it feels a bit different.
