WOW! So many views. I had no idea that this would do so well. I’m really glad I was able to help you guys out. I’m not a mechanic, I’m just a dude that would rather do something himself than pay over the odds to do it, and I learn mostly from KZbin. So to know that so many of you have learned something from this video is a real privilege. I’ll do some more content on my new car, as the clio is now dead (not due to the lightbulbs lol) so I’ll be tinkering with the Nissan Qashqai and I’ll be sure to upload on here 🤙🏽 stay safe and stay sane 😬

Went to one garage they wanted me to leave the car in and take off the whole front section,went to another place and this polish mechanic put his hand in changed it and charged me a tenner including the cost of the bulb

Acutally the most tricky part is getting the new bulb back in place after it's connected again.

Why don't they make it like Volvo. I have a clio,06 plate, and a Volvo, 08 plate. The Volvo takes 1 minute per headlight to change all the bulbs. The clio asks to be set on fire😂😂 reliable engines, overall reliable car, but Jesus, the bloody lights are driving me insane

Can you access all the bulbs from there or just the main beams? Need to replace my dipped headlights

I think it's a dual filament bulb. One bulb to rule them all. H7.

We have projector model (halogen), and bulb sits way much more deeper than your car. It is very difficult to replace.

You've proved that a thin camera phone can see the bulb not that a person can get at the bulbs.. Brilliant

@mrcottrell This video is to show you how to access the bulbs without taking the front bumper off. It’s still a fiddly job but all you need to do, as I said in the video, is pull out the light bulb fitting, take the bulb out, replace the bulb and then reinstall the fitment. You’ll need to wiggle it to get the bulb straight but it’s a lot easier than everyone else is saying on line.

I’ve changed the bulbs both sides of my Clio myself without removing anything. It’s a bit fiddly but not too difficult.

Brilliant, why the manufacturers don’t think headlights need easy access is beyond me, my 56 plate Jag is easy, my sons Clio mk3 is now easy thanks to you

Yeah, I have quite small hands and can't get to the dipped bulb at all. I can't see the bulb with the cover off like that, there's too much of an angle. I can't even shine a light into the cover. I'm going to try taking the battery and fuse boxes out tomorrow though.

Car designers should be fired for such a design of a car , why its not simple as for example by golf MK2 answer is simple, money for car service

Thank you so much. You are my hero. I literally burnt my hands trying to change the headlights and failed miserably. I would still be desperately trying if you did not upload this video.
