How precise the indexing has to be in order to achieve this level of precision?

The machine has resolution of .1 micron, it can repeat to around .1 micron

With the two controls on this machine how hard is it for someone who hasn't dealt with robots to learn and to operate? Can this machine actually run unattended?

Positional accuracy of these machines is within 2 microns, easily. A company I worked for years ago, replaced a number of Moore jig bores with Yasda CNC jig boring machines for this very reason.

Saw this machine in action yesterday at Concept tool in delafield. Amazing machine. Expensive but really nice. Definitely competitive offering despite the price.
