Is it worth it putting 1 tooth bigger sprocket on the front for highway use to lower the rpm at 120kmp/h

I haven't personally tried it, it might make highway cruising a bit better but that's not what the bike is made for so I wouldn't expect it to ever be very comfortable on the highway regardless.

Would this bike happily sit on 110km/h long distance without any issues?
@dailyadventureclips

The bike can do 110 km/h all day no problem, you just won't have much acceleration left past that. The bike will do it without issues, the only caveat is you might not be very comfortable for too long, it does vibrate a fair bit at those speeds.

You're right that I didn't think of the camera view when I set it up but what a wild and unnecessary assumption to make at the end there. I regularly do long stretches of highway at 110-120 km/h, and ADV helmets are quite loud so I'm not sure what you're on about.

Arrow also has the thunder slip-on which should be a bit quieter. Also keep in mind this is recorded by putting a microphone very close to the exhaust, it doesn't necessarily reflect the loudness in real life. It is of course louder than stock but you really can't tell by how much from the video alone imo.

J'aime bien faire des long voyages.

Hello, I am thinking of buying a Yoshimura RS4 but I live in Spain and I think that the Arrow X-Kone with the collector, and the mid-pipe with or without catalyst will be a more legal option. And if you want you can remove DB-Killer in the future. What is your point of view as a European??? Thanks.
@dailyadventureclips
@dailyadventureclips Жыл бұрын
I don't know how strict they are in Spain but the full system (even with db-killer) is noticeably louder than stock. If you keep the catalyst though I'm sure it won't be that much louder than stock. On the other hand when it's warm I can definitely notice the bike gets much less warm sitting in traffic so my right leg is very happy with the removal of the catalyst.

If you mount a 90/90-21 : Goldentyre 723 or 823 / Kenda K777 / Anlas EXT / Dunlop D606 / Mitas Terra Force you will drive in perfect confidence .............with one rear like a Mitas E09 yellow strype 130/80-18 or anything else that you need for a good traction, because the smooth torque of 300L , it's awesome. The Rally 300, needs a TRUE spaced knobby off-road front, because it's a little 'heavy' in front, so you must feel CONFIDENCE in a lateral support. (Sorry for my english and advice) CIAO

Arrow has two other versions of the silencer that are less aggressive/loud than the one I have on. I have the x-kone exhaust but they also have a carbon/steel thunder silencer which should be less loud and less agressive, especially if you take the mid-pipe with cat or only go for a slip-on. Itchy boots has one of those on her CRF for example.

I'm using the stock IRC tyre at the front still and a michelin anakee wild at the rear, I didn't have a lot of traction but it was really a ridiculous amount of mud. So far I like the anakee wild more than stock for off-road, it seems to do a bit better in sand and mud.
