I purchased Scarbo 2 weeks ago and found it to be lacking. The sounds were great but nothing my other plugins didn't have already and they really only seemed to fit into cinematic scores, not really anything for beats. I got really hyped on the reviews but now I see it was all marketing. It's just videos like this one demoing the sounds by themselves saying they're objectively good without really providing context or any in-depth discussion. Even with the 15% discount it ended up being $80. Very redundant plugin fueled by marketing along with NO REFUNDS. It's hard these days to find any legit interesting and usable plugins

Thanks! $199 for perpetual seems too good to pass up. Really on the fence between that and the $99/year model.Question: Can you install Musio on more than one device? Didn't see info on this in any of the FAQ's
@RobertRodriguezMusic23 күн бұрын
@@anthonystahl I’m usually someone who tends to go for the perpetual license. And the sale they have at the moment is crazy good! But $99/year is also great as you get new libraries when they’re added! As for the number of devices, I *think* you can! I would reach out to the team because they’re good with customer support. You could also give the trial a try to test it out!
@anthonystahl22 күн бұрын
@@RobertRodriguezMusic Thank you! Yes, I will definitely have a look at the trial!

Thank you for those great advice ! I really appreciate your feedback. I am ashamed for those buttons that don't work... I shloud have seen that xD. And for the feedback on the value I should highlight, the structure etc, this is great I'll apply your advice. I will also highlight those testimonials and add more. I am really grateful thank you so much!! A last question : I recently won some competitions and awards. I want to create a place in the website to highlight them. Do you have a recommendation about where it should be? Thank you !
@RobertRodriguezMusicАй бұрын
Thanks again for sharing your work! As for the recent awards, you can integrate them into your site as brief mentions so long as you’re still describing the music you can write FOR the client 😄 You can also create an image on Canva using icons or logos of the awards or competitions to showcase credibility, and place that possibly near the testimonials section.

This is amazing, Robert!! Thank you so much for doing this. I really like your tip of branding myself more for video games because you’re absolutely right that’s the dream. Can’t wait to make the tweaks :)

I was always waiting for the “perfect” moment, until life hit me HARD a couple of years ago. I then decided to start on my own, no team, just me exploring the layers of myself through music. And I am enjoying both the failures and tolerable moments. Music has helped and continues to help me discover and shape myself. :)

This is really inspiring to hear! The thing about life hitting hard is that it's usually unexpected but we have to handle it anyway. So it's really reassuring that music has that kind of impact for other people too 😊

Thank you for this! Trying to combine music with a full time job and a social life is hard sometimes. I've thought "I'll get in some hours tomorrow!" soooo many times... I've recently been experimenting with (trying to *cough*) wake up 5-6AM and getting in 2-3 hours of music before work. That way, if I'm tired after work I have already made some progress that day. It makes a big difference on my mental health as well. Feeling a sense of progress vs yet another day without it.
@RobertRodriguezMusicАй бұрын
@@ChristianThon Woah that’s awesome to hear! That’s actually really inspiring because so many of us have something else going on and often put music off to the side. Maybe the feeling of doing something creative in the morning will stick with you throughout the day too! This is really awesome, man! 🙌

Hey Robert, this is a great video but how would I then program changing the articulation via another midi controller? I've been searching for this info everywhere and I can't find a single bit of information on it. It's too slow for me personally to go through each phrase and change the articulation via the drop down list, but I also don't want to use the keys on my 88 keyboard. any help would be amazingly appreciated
@RobertRodriguezMusicАй бұрын
Hey! I actually use my iPad as my controller (but I believe you can do the same with any MIDI controller) and I’ve been able to assign MIDI CC values for different articulations! This way when I tap the articulation that I want on my iPad and it switches without having to go to the drop down list or use a keyswitch. I actually have a video on it that I can link. I focus on Musio but I think the general idea can be applied regardless of library! kzbin.info/www/bejne/any4h5eVoa6egKMsi=zgPMs13zrjPd2m7t
