It would be worth the investment to put some of that stuff project farm tested that not only stops leaks, it’ll seal large punctures in the future;(it doesn’t set up) look at tire repair kits project farm. This stuff is off-road use and it’s in a pouch. To the best of my memory.

Nice. Be thankful (and I’m certain you are) for your wife. Well done ma’am.

The new bike from your wife is very nice and I bet you're excited to have it. I'm sure you'll get everything dialed-in and working well before long. 👍

Why concern yourself with side loading when you are on the ground? Ease of pull maybe. Just pull the thing 💪

JRB's maverick knot completely eliminates all metal. It's quick, easy to tie (imo) & features both a soft lock + carabiner lock options.

I just wanted to remind you. If your near north Mississippi this hunting season, you'll have a spot waiting on you
@madhuntsadventures17 күн бұрын
😁😁😁 I can't wait till we're down in that area during deer season! I'll be SURE to contact you and spend some time hanging out and hunting with you. I look forward to it, C. Price! Due to our family situation we'll actually be staying up here in Michigan this winter but I will keep MS in mind for sure. 👍🏼

looks cool but bulky.. Hows it one sticking??
@madhuntsadventures17 күн бұрын
It really isn't any more bulky than others I've tried in my opinion. It has so many better features than one of the big named brands I own that I quit using the other brand. I one sticked with it all last season and never had any issues. Great question, Frank! 👍🏼

As someone who is just getting into saddle hunting, there is so much information and opinions out there. I have watched several of your videos and they have greatly influenced my decisions. Thank you for how genuine you are and for the humility you've shown in this video. It takes a great man to take criticism, do research, and admit when they're wrong and apologize. Reworking the problem and finding a better solution is just the cherry on top. Thank you and God bless!
@stevenl449418 күн бұрын
What I've seen is the back up hitch goes into the same carabineer as the madrock. Works fine, no need for a second bridge. But either choice is smart for a back up.

Matt, I do basically the same thing but use an ATC instead of a mechanical belay device as like to be as minimalistic and don’t want to use mechanical devices or spend the money for one. The ATC or ATC Guide tends your back up hitch in the same fashion and the set up works great and is very safe. No need to detach or change anything to repel. Enjoyed your video, us older guys need to keep the young bucks in line…..lol!

Coming into saddle hunting not knowing much about them, I chose the Phantom XL
@tylerparker3024Ай бұрын
Its not about the auto block interfereing with the safegaurd its about the safegaurd is going to tend the auto block if it fails and the rope is pulling straight through it the knot will never catch
@tylerparker3024Ай бұрын
You just need a tender for the prusik so you dont have to do it with your hand.. it does make zero sense to put it below the device.
@wadesoutdoors1914Ай бұрын

How would you compare this saddle to the Cruzr XC?
@madhuntsadventuresАй бұрын
I personally think the Cruzr XC is more comfortable. The Nano is more streamlined for run-and-gun style hunting in my opinion. The Timber Ninja Ultimate saddle is more comparable to the Cruzer XC. Hope that helps!
@HuntingFarmerOfficialАй бұрын

Format is great, nice shooting!
@madhuntsadventuresАй бұрын

@PBAdventures146Ай бұрын
It's instinctive... you're automatically compensating for the drop off the animal.. 😃 That's one big King Cobra head right there! Ended on a great shot! What's the highest number per shot you can get? I thought it was 12pts which I thought a couple of those were.
@madhuntsadventuresАй бұрын
Haha! Oh yeah! You can shoot a 12 (and sometimes a 14) in ASA scoring but the highest scoring ring in IBO is an 11. The targets at this range are all IBO targets so an 11 is the best score you can get on each shot. So "even/par" scoring on 30 targets is a 300 (shooting all 10s).
@jamesgarner8188Ай бұрын
I use these. I have heard people say they kick out sometimes which makes me a little nervous. Have you ever had these kick out? I wonder if it's more a problem with the mini two steps. I like these because I don't like aiders. Thanks for your content.

Yeah I've done a TON of work on my grip and my form 3-4 years ago and even bought a "grip trainer" which automatically puts your hand in a proper grip position. I know I have things to work on but I don't think my grip is one of them. Thanks for pointing it out and for noticing both sides. I appreciate it and am always willing to work on things to improve. One thing that hurts me is that my bow is 30" axle-to-axle and not very forgiving, but it draws smooth and shoots really nice so I'll just have to work harder to improve. 😂
