Dude, the shit I use to go through to obtain my cassettes. Tape trading wasnt mych of thing around here as no one really listened to what I did, so really the only way to get bands like Gorguts or Deicide, early Roadrunner/Racer stuff was to special order it. Even then, it wasnt guaranteed the owner even knew or even what a band like Sodom was. They could get it though. Then i had to contend with Mom throwing stuff out if she found it, but thats a story for another time.

In Heavy, Thrash, Death or Black, Death "old school" or Thrash ends is the best period for me. The first Sepultura, Benediction, Asphyx, Obituary, Demolition Hammer, Sarcofago, Autopsy, Death, Morbid Angel and all these kinds of bands clearly have my preference over the "Black or True Black" which relies far too much on attitude than music.
