Dear ALVVAYS, I have a poster of one of your designs I love. A significant song like "next of kin" that I didn't hear till later years after the release remix DS me of a time. A time that I now lost. I try not to cry about it but it reminds me of a time. I don't want to cram up everything in this comment box so I'll just say that you guys mean alot toe in my life.

Wow! This is great. I really thought they had no opportunity to perform either of these songs live. :)

Les vi en Valencia el día anterior y aunque les sigo desde pequeño fue brutal. La energía que tienen en el escenario es descomunal

I guess somebody had a discussion about what was going to be put up on the screen at some point and the response from the band was "absolutely nothing at all shall appear on the screen, you may not play with the screen, it may not change colour, it can be plain white or off"

when i heard that steve died, i had just bought shellac tickets for a show in chicago the day prior. it truly crushes me knowing ill never get to see one of the coolest men alive play this new record, or any record for that matter. rip

Yeah I’m sorry to read this and of course that he passed. He drew so many interesting musicians to his studios but shellac (and big black) are awesome in their own right. I saw shellac twice play and they were so tight live, so much rhythm, so entertaining. He is missed.

RIP Steve, you delighted our ears and taught us a lot. I got to see them about 5 years back. Great show. They took all the drums off the stage one at a time at the end of the show until nothing was left. Fin.

One of those monkeys made one of Nirvana's albums-- arguably the better of the two major releases-- and did so in isolation away from any label influence in a remote North Great lakes rural outpost.
