Sir at first you should check the vital components like power transistor or mosfet which inverted your signal after that you check the battery Amps some time inverter is not working due to low amps of the battery in this situation battery volt shows full like 12.5v etc. so please check the transistor or mosfet which is used in your sine wave inverter . What can you add to remove that high frequency noise? I would have said a high pass to ground, but ground in this case is gonna be AC anyway, isn't it? Also, with the 12V+ DC going straight to the speaker, do you get a pop/thump when powering ot up or anything like that? Is there a variation of this circuit where you don't have to have the speaker connected to 12V+? Sorry for the barrage of questions, I'm just getting into building my own amps etc so I'm still learning a lot.
