This is such a damn good period in the Crowes timeline. Luther energized the whole band and added a bit of validity to (let's face it) the trainwreck that was/is the Black Crowes. The current cash grab with competent, but uninvested touring musicians is just hollow.

I was supposed to have lunch one day, I don't know him but my friend Ron..he sang for The Mighty Sphincter. We were going to meet him at the restaurant but Ron had an accident and ended up in jail. Man I was so bummed. I've always been a huge Kieth Morris fan.

Saw them in summer 2023 at Britt Festival in Southern Oregon. It was them and another 7 bands on an all 80's tour. Love those 80's festivals.
