Where did you order that lift kit from Im trying to figure out how to get a 4.5-6 inch lift kit for the same truck all I’ve been able to do is put blocks in the front to level it

I had a friend back in the 80s that was a Toyota guy. I think it was a 1985, but we had springs made and used a 3" body lift. I thing it was a total of 17" and he put 44s on it. We had gears made to bring it back down to drive like the stock 4:11.1 and it was like 7:60 something to 1. We did most of our 4 wheeling in an old abandon rock quarry and that Toyota went through some holes that the tires would disappear in. We got into one and kept hitting something and on the third hit the truck drove over and made it out, We looked back and someone had dumped an old deep freeze in the hole!

I think i would have went 4 link and coil shocks. I found that with leaf springs with that much arch they ride rough and like to tip over easily in rough off camber ground. Be interesting to see what you have for pinion angles in a couple videos.

I may do a 4 link for my next truck build, not sure yet, almost time to put those drive shafts in and I realized the truck never came with a rear shaft so that should be fun finding/ having one built

That's awesome. I'm almost done with my 83 frame off. Parts are hard to come by. i used an aftermarket hood. had to weld the hood catch way high to get it to close. Bolts were not even close. i went with 1972 toyota dune beige single stage 2k. ebay has the grill clips
