Mr. Roberts, what a wonderful, kind hearted man you are to horses and people. Thank you for treating horses with love, kindness and respect and also to these special veterans with PTSI. God has blessed you with something special that you can connect with horses and people in such a gentle way. Your method of training horses is so much better than the old way of doing it, and I'm glad people are following in your steps.

I remember watching Monty Roberts years ago when I was around 12-14yrs old. I am 23 now and I’ve started back studying on training horses and I’ve been looking for his videos for three days straight. I for some reason could not remember his name so I typed stuff in KZbin like, breaking a horse without harming it and etc. today I’ve finally found him and I’m glad. I’m fixing to go back and re-watch all the videos, put them in a playlist and also try to never forget his name. Thank you for broadcasting your works! I will aim to train every horse I own in the future the same way you train horses. Good bless you!

I had a stick horse named Blackie when I was little. He was brown. My favorite color of horse is black and I thought that if he couldn't be black he could at least have a black name. 😂 Your Blackie is lovely!

Just rode my gelding, Toby, for the first time in two years. We did this method, I watched the signs my horse gave me and we did join up! Even though we didn't do much except walk, it made our first ride in a while enjoyable for both of us.

what if I say that I was able to adapt this technique for a trotting breed and want to test it on a racehorse? I am interested in studying and raising different animals. I used to work in a small private zoo, and competitors sent their employees to us, who asked about secrets. And I told them that I studied with everyone according to the Join Up method!!! They didn't understand what it meant))) And with monkeys, I was so busy with monkeys, and birds, and raccoons, and foxes, piglets and meerkats. Some of the animals arrived quite mature. I've been told they can't be tamed. That we need to get rid of them. But after the Join Up, the animals didn't even rush around the cage. All the animals began to adore me and the visitors, to follow people. Only racehorses have not had a chance to work with this technique. And I'm also looking for a job in the USA.

Just in case anyone is interested. l am Corona's owner and attended Monty Roberts clinic at Gleneagles and confirm that she had never had a saddle, bridle or rider before this video. Monty was truly connected with her from start to finish and had never met her, let alone worked with her before that day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Monty. Xx

In the name of God - why? Putting a saddle and rider on a young horse in 30 minutes- again in the name of God - why? To what end would you do that?
@carolineramage74802 ай бұрын
@@RedHybiscusummmm? Because you want to ride the horse. What do you mean? Are horses not to be ridden? Are horses meant to be ridden bare back?
@RedHybiscus2 ай бұрын
@@carolineramage7480 your question embodies a broken, selfish, and soulless person - no - horses are not meant to be ridden - that is a burden people have put on horses - and I could continue to answer the question but that would be an utter waste of energy here

Hate that heavy halter that poor foal has on, surely there must be lightweight foal halters that don’t have all those horrible metal buckles on that must hurt when they bang against their faces.

He's a lunatic all right. He'd look good in a bag with Alpo on the label. Ha! Ha! Just kidding folks! Using Monty Roberts methods he will probably turn out to be a really nice horse. I've been following him for years. I've got two of his books and have watched a documentary of his. Would like to see videos with more content.

Place the mom and foal out in pasture. Let mom have the number of days necessary to teach the important parts of being a horse. Humans stay out of this part of the process. A horse is the best teacher of a horse, not a human.

exactly, Monty Roberts has shown in this video how heartless he is … as he abuses and forces this poor helpless foal to obey him. he only sees a foal as a money making object not a living baby animal with feelings and fears that should be respected and left to be in peace … its truly sad to watch him psychologically control and force horses to become slaves, whilst acting like he is a noble and gentle horse lover. This guy disgusts me
