Its Prekmurian, same as Teče mi vodica. But there are lots of music been made. Professional, folkloric, the ones people made out and forward it to another people who added something to the lyrics etc. I am not sure. I will ask someone from Prekmurje, who is the leadder of some choir and I will let you know. :)

Jolly Band Thank you so much! My grandparents were from Sulinci and Dolenci. They came to America when they were about 24 years old. That was in about 1926. I really like your facebook page, and I am enjoying all of the music you have posted. Again, thank you for all your help. There aren't many people in the world who know the Prekmurian language!

Jan Veader Hi! We come from Štajerska which is about 30km away from Prekmurska. And the language there is a bit different, then here, even though they both are in Slovenia. I will post you lyrics below, while I will try to translate lyrics in to English. Teče mi vodica (Prekmurksa ljudska) ORIGINAL: Teče mi teče vodica, skouz toga moustiča zidanoga, (2x) de se je lubica zmuvala, milo se joukala. Jouči se jouči vej se šče bauš, dere bom gjes k soldatom šow, (2x) s toga kraja v en drugi kraj, nede me več nazaj. ENGLISH: Flowing, my water is flowing, through this stoned bridge, where girl used to clean her self, and slightly cry. Cry girl, cry, you will still do, when I will go in to army, from this place to another, I wont be back anymore. It is quite hard to translate it rythmically, but you will understand what song is about. Thanks Jan!
