i just installed the same pump. mine isn't turning on. relay is clicking. i have voltage. my wiring is a little different. it has a split ground from relay to switch to chassis. still investigating.

I love my 2013 BMW 550i, 2nd day driving on the highway while it was raining I hydroplane of the road into a ditch I was bless I didn’t hurt myself nor anyone else. The ditch was filled with water up to the entrance of the bottom doors. I got it towed home and was scared because I thought it started running hot, so I let it sit for 2 wks to dry and then took it to the dealer. They put super coolant lines on it and it was fixed. Although I got it for a steal at 10,000 I ended up coming out of 7,000 for the supper coolant lines. But when I tell you fast ol boy this is the fastest car I’ve ever owned. Bought the vehicle with 89,000 miles. I love my car it run and look beautiful. Will say maintenance ranges from 400 up to 5000 a year depending on the state of your vehicle.. I wouldn’t sell my car for 50,000 because I probably wouldn’t be able to find another as good. The only other car that can fill the void will be the 2013 BMW m5 probably but you know as I think about it won’t. I juz want to get one of them as well. But Hell Yeah I love ❤my 2013 550i with the m sport package. A lot of people actually thought it was at least a 2017. Crazy that this car is 11 years old and it’s still a looker!

The yellow RCA cable, where does that go? I've contacted support but they keep saying it goes to the backup camera. However the Sync 1 had no RCA input

Nov 2024 - Thanks for posting this video. I had the same issue (popping & clanking) with my 2016 Explorer Platinum with 81K miles. It’s been intermittent over the last several months, on right hand turns only, but the Ford dealer couldn’t replicate it. In time it became worse every time we drove it, but everything else was solid (CV & ball joints, rods, etc). Another KZbin video was also helpful because it explained the steering stopper ring is a 2-piece unit with a gasket between them. It’s purpose is to keep the steering rack from hitting its travel limits HARD on right hand turns. But it’s a poor design by Ford, it separates in time, and the outer ring gets hung up on the steering rack threads, which causes the intermittent popping and clanking sounds. My inner ring was solid, even after I tried to rotate and get it to move, so I left it alone. Once I started, I was done in 45 minutes. This was a free and easy solution for me because the popping and clanking is gone. My only caution to others is this: If you remove the outer ring, be aware NOT to make HARD right hand turns. And if you’re in doubt, contact your local Ford dealer or automotive repair shop. Thanks again to the people who take the time to post these KZbin videos that help DIY’ers like me! CJ in Las Vegas

I own a 550i xdrive as well. The mistake I made was buying the wrong year. I knew the 2014 models and newer BMW had fixed the n63 engine issue so I purchased a 2014 550i xdrive to avoid the engine issues. However I still ended up with the n63. Even though mines is a 2014, the production year was 2013 which means I have the original n63 and not the n63tu which I thought I had. Car drove great, extremely smooth and quiet but one random day I got the “drive chain malfunction” error message. I immediately took the car to bmw they said it had high oil consumption and it’s causing the engine to run rich. They recommended I purchase entire new engine and quoted me $22,000 for the repair. I took the vehicle to my independent mechanic who worked as a bmw tech for 20 years, and he is currently working on it now without replacing the entire motor. Fingers crossed

Thanks for the Video. I was just able to replace the starter myself after local shop quoted me $600 for it. I was lucky, the 2 invisible upper bolts were both lose. Anyway, took me about 1 1/2 hours to replace the starter. Thanks again, greetings from Daphne, Alabama

That is why I got rid of my 328 heap oh shit. Actually worked well just had an over heating issue. Junk not great cars fix or repair daily. Honda is a better option.

Probably a dumb question ... does ForScan work the same with the smaller 4" radio (Sync1) and/or the Sync3 unit? I'm picking up a '22 xl/stx with the 4" radio and will need to add some upgrades (door keypad, fog lights, remote start, etc...) and will need to use ForScan for some things. I thought I heard another youtuber say you had to have Sync3 to use ForScan?
