I loved her music in my teens her first album was on the jazzy side but after that more R&B ,I had all her cDs

R.I.P. Angela Bofill. Heaven has just gained another angel with a lovely voice. Loved her rendition of Earl Klugh's "Balladina" which was titled "You Should Know By Now" on her album Something About You (1981). I also loved I Try and Let Me Be The One which are just a few of my many favorites from her anthology. Feeling personally devastated at this loss. I offer my sincere condolences and prayers to her family.

I really liked her! My ex would send me her song "I Try" as a way of letting me know he wanted me back! She's a very good singer and will truly be missed ❤🙏🏾❤️

My sympathy goes out to the Bofill family. She will be so dearly missed. My favorite song by Angela Bofill is “I Try”. To be a young woman of seventeen years old; and to write the lyrics to such a beautiful song. ( expressing love and not feeling love in return is unbelievable). It gives me chills every time I heard Angela sing “I Try”. May God give the Bofill family, and friends strength and peace.

😢 Angela Bofill was beautiful and talented and I’m so sorry to hear that she has passed, I guess she never fully recovered from the strokes and other health issues she had. She is now at peace with no pain, I pray she rest in peace.

Her music carried many through some tough time in there lives, I know I've enjoy her music which made me smile and wonder what a talent. Her story of her battles after the stroke. Made me realize life is always changing and to be thankful for each day. On top or the bottom, to remember the heights and lows because there's lessons in both. No one stay at the top forever. But be thankful of your personal journals and enjoy each moment. While I look to the sky and watch a flock of birds, I'm reminded that the one in front needs rest too. And must fall back and let others take over. But I'm thankful I watched you sail your journal , It made me smile. for you were there for me. And I say thank you.
