My dad was a kickass skier back in the day jumping from wake to wake 20 foot plus gaps and getting almost sideways on his carves.

How it releases is kinda important to talk about ,guessing the liner slides out & heard you could also do a refex type of plate with a Silveretta release ?

Just bought this ski for my dad. He has always skied on course skis but this year had trouble getting up. Snagged him a Union and hoping he can grow old with it. He still skis 22off 32mph but I see him open water closer to 28 soon.

I bought a satori in 2013. I thought it would get old after buying other skis and boat toys, but we always come back to it. Still riding it and loving it! Bring back a limited edition satori? I think it’s time👍

Eddie was a true gentlemen and a consummate student of the sport of slalom skiing. I, like many others, learned much from this man. He was always generous with his advice, and he loved to assist others in understanding better all facets of skiing and the design of skis. He is truly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him. I certainly consider myself lucky to be amongst those and cherish the memories of my time with him on the water, not the least of which was the many times he drove the boat while I applied myself to the slalom course up at Radar Lake. RIP Eddie, you were one of the great ones. Thanks for posting this video to honor a legend. Mike Waldera
