Nice video, thanks for posting. By the way, there's a boundary volunteer opportunity coming up soon, the first week of April: docs.google.com/document/d/1ogznZCdTH37L57f7n1WjFO12lIbfnvPFdaThXyYMcAY/edit?usp=sharing

Beautiful, sweet, yet heart-wrenching. My sweetheart and I fell in love with this song today upon hearing in the movie 'Relative Happiness'.

Love the video! ...but I'd suggest the location is Peel! (not Simonds!!) I say this as I own the property on east side of the river and have admired the island for 40 years. :) So happy it's in the Trust's care now. The islands on the river are more in danger of the water flow adjustments by the dams in my opinion (Beechwood in this case). The island HAS lost ground in the upriver side as told by my grandfather who watched it for many decades BEFORE the dam went in and watched the river change afterward. The Middle Becaquimic Island is all but gone and I remember when it looked just like "Eagle's Eye"....albeit smaller.

Thank you for your feedback, we’ll definitely keep that in mind! The Nature Trust hosted a webinar with the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council (NBISC) in April 2021 where participants learned about how to identify invasive species, how they affect native wildlife, and removal techniques. If you’re interested in obtaining the recording for this webinar, you can contact our Conservation and Engagement Technician, Brittany Dixon, at [email protected]
