11:06 bacause you in "edit mode" on modeling view... if you change "Edit Mode" into "Object Mode" you can select other mesh (note: Edit mode lower render panel top right on monitor )

I appreciate the design process example. How do you find models of different proportions? For example if you wanted to design something custom for a person you need some model file that's roughly their shape, how would you search and find that?

Hi Dogo, by "Model" do you mean Avatar or Garment? Because in case of lack of an avatar, your client should offer one or another 3d modeler (generalist) would make it or if it is a normal model (well proportioned human being) you can check Daz studio.

Hello, great to learn from your videos :) I have question if you allow me to : sometimes I create small pieces ( such as a small rectangles) hanging on a pocket and when I simulate the rectangle goes up high like it was inflated or there was no gravity , it’s attached to the pocket but the rest of the tail is flying like pressure was 100 :/ but all other elements are fine , do you know how to fix that please ?

Maybe you should change the material ( choose those 3 fabrics in the end of the list) or make the pattern bigger or add weight to the fabric.

This is a free basic MD avatar. When you download the software in the library you should download the assets. Then you can find it in “avatar” section.

I copied the internal line then “selected the desired pattern” then pasted it. In this way the internal line comes above the selected pattern.

Dali whats the RAM of your pc?. I have a Ryzen 5 5600 X rtx 3060 16gb mem but when im simulating clothes dear lord my pc just die and not even working with low value particles always at 20-15. And i dont like to simulate with GPU because the result is inaccurate. Btw great tut.

For your first question I should tell you that for sure you need to retopology bake, and… . For your second question you can save your animation in MD.
