Hi I’m completely new to fashion design, I need help with a question. How to you make the pattern for the lining? Is it the same as the outer layer pattern?
@Dalidacoco5 күн бұрын
in digital world they are the same somehow. Use the Layer Clone (under) option or with Ctrl+shift+B to create a duplicate of the selected pattern piece directly under of the original.

Where do you get ideas for the clothes you create? Only Midjourney comes to mind, but after all, we need angles of different sides of the garment. Not just the front, but the back. Could you share some advice please?
@Dalidacoco8 күн бұрын
@@farzell_cg hi, my KZbin model ideas come from my refrences. I usually look at Pinterest and Artstation and pick my favorite parts and create a new garment base on trends… But this video’s reference in particular is made by ai.
@Dalidacoco8 күн бұрын
@@farzell_cg I keep back side simple bcuz the front part is loaded enough and I think: don’t put all your eggs in one bascket, if not, it is going to be chaotic.

nice job i really like the style, i had a question regarding fabric since im new, which fabric i use for latex?
@Dalidacoco17 күн бұрын
Hi, in the second part I explained how to do it in Blender but if you want to make it in Clo3D/MD, simply change your fabric mat to plastic or leather and then modify the reflection. If you want you can add a normal map too.

How can I make crochet clothes too?😢😩
@Dalidacoco23 күн бұрын
Just find the texture that you like on websites. In photoshop export the normal map and opacity map then in MD or Clo upload them in the fabric’s property editor.(the normal map and opacity)

I've seen tutorials in which the "tutor" often throws out random numbers or guestimates line length, etc. Would you advise this? I prefer to be as accurate as possible because, if I'm following a tutorial and they're using rough figures, my results are often different to theirs.
@DalidacocoАй бұрын
@@TheJovialBrit It’s good to be precise, of course it makes your final results cleaner. Particularly, if you create your artwork in Clo3D and there’s a possibility of producing physically. But I personally don’t have the patience and I know if I want to be precise, I’d enter to an endless adhd mode and waste too much time…😅

I followed this tutorial and it turned out great! I have a question about the export process, though. I wanted to put it into marmoset toolbag, but the seam lines werent visible and the zipper line didnt export. is there anything i can do about this? it looks great in MD but not so great in toolbag
@Dalidacoco2 ай бұрын
You should organize your UV map and then while exporting Tuggle on “UV coordinates” then check the “normal map” in this way in other software you should apply your normal map. For the zipper in some software they don’t read the zipper of the marvelous designer and you should create it by yourself.

I appreciate the design process example. How do you find models of different proportions? For example if you wanted to design something custom for a person you need some model file that's roughly their shape, how would you search and find that?

Hi Dogo, by "Model" do you mean Avatar or Garment? Because in case of lack of an avatar, your client should offer one or another 3d modeler (generalist) would make it or if it is a normal model (well proportioned human being) you can check Daz studio.
