I have been training this for a while. Although we mainly do grappling and stand up. But combat Jujitsu and sambo are our main arts. I also work as a doorman for many years, and I promise this stuff works in real life. Great video, thank you!

His techniques are allright, but teaching laughing, untrained civilians how to deal with knifes.. Unacceptable. Thats a great way to get yourself killed. If someone has a knife you RUN! only takes one cut at the right place..

He seems to be demonstrating that he can control non resisting oponents two thirds his weight with Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Surely he could do the same without Jiu Jitsu. It is quite entertaining though.

actually the biggest mass of nerves there is, at least that can be used in martial arts is the solar plexus, some in the medical field even refer to it as a second brain. actually i have known people who if true, that is there only brain.

I credit this video with inspiring me to learn Brazilian Jujitsu. I understand this is regular Jujitsu, but I was fascinated with it... But after 6 years I'm watching it again and realizing how some of these moves would probably not work in a real conflict. Nobody is gonna stand there and let you put your finger under their nose and peel their head back and fall backwards... still a great video tho.

You're no fighter but don't worry, most people aren't. Martial arts maneuvers aren't meant as they're shown like do A and then B but when the time comes to do it. In a real fight, say I was in punching range and threw a punch and then went down to take the legs out but instead stepped inward and applied this move that you said wouldn't work and right there, I made it work. Don't worry Oscar Meyer, you might get there some day!

Everything he is doing here can be found in Aikido. My god you ppl are so easily influenced by bullshit texts. Jujutsu is not the original, Karate does not originate from it. Jujutsu is a 'body art' meaning it mainly revolves around locking, pinning and throwing the body. Karate, is a striking art, meaning Kara-te 'empty hand' it independently evolved on Okinawa and mainly uses hand strikes, punches etc, such as hammer fist, knife hand etc. and Kicks. In traditional Karate your intent is to immediately incapacitate the opponent. Aikido evolved from Aikijutsu, which itself has a direct lineage to Daito Ryu which predates most Japanese Martial arts, which basically evolved on the battlefield.
