We catch live bait shads about 200 with cast net and we catch about 30-40 stripers in 6 hours

In lake mead in las Vegas stripers won’t even look at bluegills, stripers here only eat live shads, hopefully you guys can come up here to fish for stripers

Stripers all in san joaquin and at rio vista to sherman island bro. We be slaying it from bank off anchovies, pike minnows , shiners and mud suckers. Top of the tide to outgoing. If you on boat hit up liberty island thats hot spot for them giants stripers 30s to 40s plush. Use jerk bait, spooks or glide baits

I thought you cannot use bluegills as bait to catch striped bass in California? Few years ago I saw the DFG gave a ticket to someone at O'Neil Forbay cause they were using bluegills.

In California you are NOT allowed to transport them .. you can USE them if they was caught in the same body of water.. idk the story about O’Neil but as long as you caught it in the same water you can use it for bait .. thanks for tuning in
