I feel like this map was wildly out of control difficulty wise. Zeratul probably straight up single-handedly defeated the entirety of the Swarm at this point.

These songs were still good, but I’m a bit disappointed that they picked these to include in SC64. In the original game, each race had 3 songs, and one more for brood war. It would have been neat to see them reimagine them for the console, rather than using prerecorded audio that took up so much space they couldn’t include most of the tracks. The brood war songs weren’t meant to be the only song that played for the entire expansion. It gets old hearing the same song every time you play a game, and the brood war songs are the weakest in the original soundtrack. That’s more speaking to the knockout quality of the StarCraft ost, but it makes this game just a bit harder to tolerate, on top of all the other reasons that playing this port is like walking on broken glass.

I personally find the PC version of this song to be the best song in the game. but it would've been neat if they re-recorded the music to have shorter variants that could all fit on a cartridge.

You must download the Populous Multiverse launcher, It's in the description but i'll also link it here in this post below. Once downloaded, you need to download whatever Populous campaign you want to play (they'll be on the same website, btw) Then, you go into the "Settings" you will see "tribe skin" and select whichever one you want. Also there are mods on the website for the new "8 player tribes" as well but those work a little differently. Link: thebeginning.uk/multiverse/

In Blizzard's mad quest to pander to Esports, they ruined the core mechanics and the thematic gameplay of races of StarCraft with it's sequel. - Protoss units are extremely strong but expensive, slow and takes longer to produce. In SC2, they ruined it with nerfs on Zealot, Archon and bringing gimmicky units like Stalker which can teleport, and Disruptors that are worse Reavers, in terms of skill. - Zerg units are weak and fragile, but they can produce fast, these are ruined with units like tanky Roaches, tanky Ultralisks and light damage bonus on Hydras, in the sequel. - Terrans are between Protoss and Zerg but they have a lot of defensive units (Siege Tanks, infantry in Bunkers) to control the map. In SC2, they're ruined by aggressive units like Banshees, Cyclones, Tanky Marines and Marauders. Now all three races have weak and strong units mixed in them. In other words, Blizzard never understood how StarCraft's gameplay worked that led to it's success in South Korea in the first place.

Ah, this level I am planning to remake when I get round to it because of how unfair it is. Plus I think the map looks bad in general. Don't worry though, the other levels are easier compared to this 😅

The rest of them I think you could beat in hard difficulty seeing how good you've played so far. I'm just disappointed with how this level turned out in the end tbh

Yeah, You might remember I did pretty good on the other ones, still think i'm just getting a bit slower in my movements, I feel like i might've been able to beat it on hard about.. maybe 4 years ago. But I'll try it again on Medium and maybe see if I can still do the others on hard.

well this levels aren't really fair, the player is targeted way too often, from many sides, at same times, with shields... so yeah a mistake can cost the game

@@Populous3Tutorials Yeah, maybe this onejust wasn't balanced correctly, but I after the last time I played Multiplayer on the mm I also performed horrendous, so it might just be a me problem, idk. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to just swallow my pride and play most of these campaigns at Medium difficulty :/
