@@arrowsup Yeah I thought about it, heard good things about both to be sure, but I like the longer ATA and brace height of the Verdict. Although the Exalt is $300 cheaper. If only there was a place I could go to actually try them both out, but near me in Michigan there are few bow shops and even fewer that would carry a target bow like the Verdict - it's all about hunting. I might be able to get my hands on an Exalt though.

Ok y'all, 100% honesty here. Went to a bow shop 2 hours away to try a demo Ethos they had for sale $300 lower than list with the Elite qad rest on it. I left with the bow! Never spent that much or went that far to only possibly get a bow but here I am. 2024 Ethos in pure whitetail. Wonderful bow to shoot and very accurate and steady.

Sweet video. Watch your draw length in the pics of you shooting from the side and back. Try a 1/2" to 1" longer, your back elbow is a good amount in front of your body and you have a decent bend in your front arm. A bent front arm is not 100% repeatable. Think about "bone on bone", wrist-elbow-shoulder. You start to draw with a straight front arm, then you bend it to get you anchor. Just trying to help, not criticize.

Another helpful tip with an index is I touch my pointer finger to my thumb creating a closed loop if that makes sense and just pull through the shot. Keeps my finger placement on the trigger the same each time. I do the same with my thumb release. That has helped me immensely just to focus on the shot process

Logic dictates brand loyalty has no tangible value. What does have value is the bow that fits you in more and better ways than other bows you have used. All the characteristics that make this “new?” one work better is what we are always seeking.
@arrowsup
@arrowsup 8 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s why I shoot what I shoot. There’s no brand loyalty at all in my collection of bows. I have close to 20. I buy what I want because I want it. There’s no other justification I need. I don’t care about numbers. I don’t care about size, brace height or none of it. If I shoot it and makes me feel good. I buy it.

If you can’t hold at 5-10 yards. You think you’ll be able to hold at 20-80yds. There’s a 8x lens in that scope. If I’m not holding at 5yds indoor. I promise you I’m not holding at 80yds outside If I didn’t have the 8x lens I’d agree. But know I hold this bow well outside because I hunt with it.

I’d say go shoot them. I don’t think anyone could truthfully say. These bows hold like the Era or the omnia. The Kairos definitely holds better than the Verdict. I doubt any brand comes out with new tech anytime soon that consumers will notice or not be upset about. Unless you want the bows to shoot themselves.

@@arrowsup right but even 2 month old nocks can be pretty janky. Especially if you’re shooting a competition and really want the best performance possible you should get new nocks. They’re small pieces of plastic that are prone to wear. Give it a look into I think it makes sense.
