I have a car that is metallic grey (mid grey). It is possible to simply sand the existing clear coat, and apply a metallic purple colour over the top? Or do I have to sand right back to base?

That looks amazing. I've bought some dragon fire to do my whole motorbike with aerosol cans. I'm not experienced but I've done some painting on plastics before. How do you apply so many coats so quickly without any adverse effects? I've done a 2nd coat before over a 1st coat that was dried for 24 hours and must have applied too much or, went too slowly or had the can too close and literally watched the paint bubble up and go like spiderwebs. Do you have any tips for me please? This stuff is too expensive to make mistakes with

Is it possible to buy the Neptune pearl as a powder?? I want to paint some RC cars with this color but you don't seem to sell it as a aerosol and I dont need a whole 1L for the size im working with... EDIT: The site wasn't good on mobile, disregard the part about the aerosol!

Wanting to paint my 68 elco back to factory grecian green but now I'm swinging towards this color now

So I’ve only just finished a virtual gold chrome on two identical items. After applying the virtual chrome product and leaving for 2 1/2 hours everything was going well until the micro fibre stage and scratch marks very visible , the second item I skipped this part and the final results were perfect . Definitely skip that part. Just don’t touch it until after it’s had it’s final clear coat, it’s not worth the risk .

This video makes my top ten list of any car paint video that I've ever seen, it was amazing!!

Need help, anyone. I got some good crystals, but when I tried to rub off the topcoat it didn't come off. Even with 150 grit sand paper the topcoat is still hard to get off. I'm using Krylon Spray Paint. Am I using the wrong type of paint? Am I supposed to take off the topcoat sooner? Any help would be appreciated.
