All looks exquisite, I suspect the EM project helped develop this range too🤔 I'd like to see this sort of detail, or at least more refined (removing the dummy facing point lock arrangement) stretcher/tie bars, added to the O gauge bullhead track. Also better looking and more refined check rails and crossing nose Vs (Frogs). Whilst the DFPLs help with the addition of a microswitch (particularly useful on garden lines), it looks awful on indoor lines, plus the older Peco range of O gauge switches, crossings (points) are now, somewhat of a curate's egg. There is no longer the need to cater for coarse scale O gauge, so the tolerances and layout of the points need sharpening up a little. Not that I'm ungrateful, but us modellers of 7mm are always the poor relations.

Just what I need for my layout extension. I can't wait to get one from my local model shop. Shameless plug, search Kirkby-in-Ashfield MPD 38F to see how I've used the bull head track on my shed layout.

Very nicely done... Not a UK standard gauge modeler (live in the US), but you guys are really outdoing yourselves with your track offerings. Your latest HO scale turnouts are beautifully constructed. Now if we could just get you to produce large radius (22" or greater) 009 "Mainline" turnouts, that'd be great! Keep up the great work...

Model railway products keep getting better & better, and bullhead rail is a good addition. I hope that Peco will one day introduce P4/EM gauge (is there a difference? I don't know) track. Right now, anyone wanting to model P4/EM gauge needs to build the track themselves. Model railways needs to keep on improving its standards and it would be nice to see layouts have a more accurate track width. It would make things that little bit better

I have Peco bullhead in every visible part of my layout, and really like then looks, BUT... ballasting it is am bit**! The sleepers are so thin that even using N scale ballast, it's a real challenge getting ballast coverage between the sleepers without having it come up the rails or exposing the substrate. I have resorted to laying strings of 2x2mm strips on the substrate with the track on top to allow ballast to be set in. (Most of my tunnels and all of my lower level fiddle yard is Code 83 flat bottom.) There is no room for error here. Also, the plastic used for the sleepers is quite hard, and often leads to popping a sleeper off the rail when trying to drill for a pin or screw. On the other hand, the feeling of accomplishment when one gets the rail joiners to go on at first try is immense. When the curved turnouts are available, I will likely replace my Code 83 ones with the new ones, just to have consistency.

Excellent update, thank you for sharing Peco. The small radius turnouts are a desperate need for small layouts (4f by 1.5ft).

The ‘Colonel Stephens’ livery is a very contemporary term. In the 1920s the livery was known as ‘Kentish Green’. Lovely looking models. I need a couple for My 1928 WHR layout.

Odd how we think of 'rakes' in modern terms. Pre-1939 photos show most trains consisted of (from the buffer stops at Harbour) a bogie van (old Nos.1-3), two bogies (from the 15-20 series), a couple of 'small Birminghams' ("bug boxes"). The bogie 'Ashburys' (Nos.21-22) were apparently bought as 'workmans carriages' and seem not to have featured in the "basic" formations (they weren't exactly noted for legroom). They'd be among other vans and carriages tacked on, as traffic demanded. The down workman's train on Saturday was usually tacked onto the lunchtime departure from Blaenau. There's a wonderful photo of a double engine at the long vanished Blaenau Ffestiniog Junction Station (locally Y Stesion Fain) on this working, with the enormous number of quarryman's carriages tailing off out of the picture.

Hi Kevin, this comment isn't about the weigh bridge but about your last video on Parkside kits. Personally, I think it's good news that model kits of rolling stock are still being produced to allow modellers an affordable way of producing a relatively scale goods train. What I would like to see from Peco is the return of the Wonderful Wagon Kits. I know that they still produce, or at least I think that they still produce the tanker wagons, as there appears to be lots about on the internet. But I would like to see the return of the coke, coal, and salt kits. We all rave about sprung buffers now, but Peco were producing these years ago, with working axleboxes and some decent weight to them! Have a quiet word, would you?

Why the high pitched plink plink plink background noise, that's no music, it is needless noise, and why is it at a sound level equal to the narration, what even merely potential value does it add to the video?
