With the push button butterflies needles. You are supposed to press the button while the needle is still in the vein. Cause tge the needle to retract. This keeps the blood from splashing everywhere. It's much safer this way.

Hi! Quick question here. For the non rebreather, how does it deliver 60-75% FIO2 if the delivery flow rate is between 6-11L/min? Wouldn’t that equate to 44%-65% if we’re going off the chart pictured in the beginning of the video? Thanks!:)

You really only need one mL for the machine to result. Only one you need the right volume for is the coags (blue top).

Any tips for patients whose picc lines flush without any resistance but won't return blood? I try to position their arms in different ways which sometimes works but not always.

So, if you don’t mind using black gloves or because when you’re demonstrating the tubes which we are supposed to be using, I’m unable to tell which one of them it is that you’re using that’s just me. I’m unable to see it or to differentiate it so using black gloves for me would be better.

These little conatiners are the worst invention in the history of the world. Any company that uses these needs be boycotted ,they have zero regard for people's safety and not to mention the severe inconvenience

No, fine crackles, also known as rales, usually cannot be cleared with a cough because they are caused by fluid in the small airways of the lungs, and coughing often only dislodges mucus in larger airways; therefore, fine crackles often persist even after coughing and may require treatment addressing the underlying cause of fluid buildup in the lungs. Coarse crackles can be caused by secretions (pneumonia) or fluids (pulmonary edema). After coughing or a few deep breaths, crackles may clear.

I live in rural Ontario Canada. I also work as a new nurse . I am realising how few our resources when dealing with many patients including stroke patients! We have 1 doc in hospital at night, no CT no MRI, no RT ....
