Would showing up with a bunch of vegitation killer to spray a couple times a year help? I would totally do that. As long as its not disrespectful. I know vegetation killers are EPA approved. Is it owned by anyone?
@georgesawtooth2 күн бұрын
I don't think this is owned by anyone. It is near a farm. The cemetery had a fence and a gate at one time but time destroyed them. It is a Catholic cemetery, so I am surprised a local Catholic congregation doesn't upkeep it sometimes. Abandoned cemeteries are like abandoned towns....no one owns them except the county or state?

I make sure places have been vacated. This place has been vacated since 2008. My basic goal is to video tape these old places before they get demolished and made into a subdivision. Maybe people years from now would be interested in rural Colorado when it was indeed rural rather than unlimited subdivisions and strip malls.

I know but sometimes I have to use wide angle to show the beauty around the house too. The next time I will use linear mode and you can see if it is really better. It won't show the surrounding beauty and the curves won't be there too....but many people on KZbin love the wide-angle. I appreciate your comment though.

Only video I’ve been able to find about this cemetery. I used to live in the neighborhood next to the cemetery it’s known as the “bird cage” because every street is named after a bird. I lived on Mockingbird. The house I lived in was extremely haunted and I had multiple experiences while living in the house back in 2015, I was 15 years old at the time. Moved out about a year later. I’ve been trying to research the area and the house for some time now and have hardly came across anything. Even just this short and simple video I appreciate a lot. Takes me back to when I lived there, visited the cemetery quite a few times just wondering around the area. Nice video!

Thank you. Unfortunately, there is really not too much information on this cemetery other than what I posted in the description from Adams County. The only thing we could do is go to the county and city archives which takes quite a bit of time. My guess is you are like me...we don't have that time due to jobs and family. My goal is to one day when I retire to go back and research more thoroughly all of my locations that I've video taped. Thank you for commenting!

Also, do you think those hauntings were residual hauntings (like a thumb print on glass) or intelligent hauntings where the ghost seemed to interact with you and know what it was doing? Just curious!

Surprised it was built in 1964, I thought this building was older. We were always intrigued by it; too bad you were not able to go inside to show us around.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let the viewer know that sometimes I don't talk and explain things in my videos! I let the viewer find clues in the video to help them do a little research on their own to find the location and history of the location! Plus, I get negative views from people who hate music or dislike what I do or don't do! You can't please everyone so sometimes I talk, sometimes I add music, and sometimes I just film and let the viewer just ponder what they are seeing. Really, I just do what makes me happy at the time. I love old buildings, and I love history; so I just make my videos because I enjoy getting history onto video for posterity. The old abandoned barn and silo I did just about a year ago is gone...demolished. I am so glad I was able to get that old place on video. Can you imagine what that family would feel like now to see their farm leveled now in 2024? God bless everyone!!! Enjoy life because it goes fast!!!

I get negative comments no matter what I do so I try to just balance out on my videos as much I can. This old town hall is in the old defunct town of Leader, Colorado and was used by the local women's auxiliary up until the 1970's. The school house and post office are long gone unfortunately. This is about 15 miles north of Byers. There is a crash site of an old WWII airplane just about 8 miles or so to the northeast of Leader! Thank you for commenting.

Thank you for your comment and I appreciate your support! I tried to look for the cemetery, but I could not find it. One reason is that my friend, Rick Tittlemouse and I were talking, so we may have missed it. Rick can't walk very well so we had to head home soon after this video. There was a fire in 2009 that destroyed most of the buildings including the school on the hill. My goal is to get as many old structures as possible on video before they disappear forever.

Very surprised that I don't remember hearing about this. I turned 8 two days later, and lived near Brighton, so this would've been local news, and I was the same age as a few of these children. What's weird is that I had just visited the Auburn Bus Tragedy Memorial decorated with toys for the 20 children who were the victims of this unnecessary accident. I noticed that a My Little Pony toy was among the decorations. My daughter Melody loved My Little Pony. It's kind of a mysterious coincidence that I saw this baby horse and I called this video its name dedicated to my daughter. Maybe I dedicated it to the little girls (and boys) from Auburn too!!! Life is really a mysterious and divine link to everyone dead and alive, to the universe, and ultimately to the everlasting arms of the Creator.
