Hi can teach me how to cook the big sago? Mine always hard to cook the inner part 🥺 thanks.

Add big sago into boiling water in a heavy bottom saucepan. Stir so that they don’t stick to the bottom. Bring to boil again, lower heat n simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off heat n Let remain in the pot covered for 1 hour. Add more water do the same procedure again one more time. Then rinse sago with water. Put rinse sago into a stainless steel plate, Add a bit of water into sago n steam until transparent. This way will be chewy.

For smaller containers, can cut in half and dried in sunshine to vastly reduce size. All required then is generously sprinkle salt all between leaves and crevices then weigh down with plate or washed clean large rock/brick etc Then pour rice water until just past top of veges Same 7 days )))

Absolutely delicious. Sea cucumber are small sizes. They are soft with just the right texture. They will be too soft if cook longer.

You can sub wheat starch with tapioca flour if you want gluten free. But wheat starch should be gluten free as gluten was removed.
