👍👍WOW it looks fantastic and it looks like it flies great as well! Watching this video brings back memories from my youth. I learned to fly control line with a Cox 049 PT-19 in the mid 1960s. Mine came with an unusual reverse color scheme. It had blue wings and stabilizer and a yellow fuselage. I taught many kids in the neighborhood to fly it. Regards from Thailand! 😁

All that open space, and he lands in the grass. I’ve done it, and when I’ve done it to a perfectly good aircraft, I shake my head; there’s something psychological about not maintaining control of an aircraft especially during landing and in fairly good weather; basically one just gives up. I fly real aircraft for an airline, and part of our training and professionalism, is flying that plane throughout the landing phase, not just letting it go where it wants to go. I’ve seen expensive RC jets handled like dime store balsa plane, especially during this critical phase of flight. A great flight deserves a great landing. And if the conditions are over your experience level, don’t takeoff 😉

Need to go farther down wind and turn final do a gradual decent with flaps if the decent gets too fast or your going to overshoot go around practice on full tank so you can get used to it if you get too slow add power. First flights have to be in test pilot mode I make a check list I go down to get used to the flight envelope like slow flight from high up see how slow I can get it with full flaps also check decent rates. Ill have expo ready to add in low rate and high rate get rid of jerky movements in the air.

Filling the airplane with gas with a lit cigarette in the mouth I once saw someone doing that fire ball from the fumes burned all the hair off his face. Start out with foam P-51 get used to adding power slowly and getting the tail up while using right rudder I sometimes use mix in right rudder with a switch.
