Nice building its a shame they let so much of the morons in so its not a safe venue to attend. The staff simply dont have control of the venue at times so I wouldn't recommend it on safety grounds. Its well known and in the papers theres always fights in the venue. I cant think of another venue in Glasgow that has the same problem with violence.

Hi Jack, I worked on the Hydro when building it, mate! Awesome experience. And yes The Apollo great too. I met Brenda Lee before her appearance there. Was in a barbers shop in St Vincent Street ( ok ok a long years ago, I was a 19 y/o) she walked in with her manager to get his haircut.....and sat beside me in the queue. Those Where The Days My Friend. ;-)

Hard to believe it's been 4 years since it opened already, I've been to 15 shows at the Hydro now with 2 more penciled in for next month. Here's to many more!
