It really is one of my favorite fighting games of all time! It has fantastic roster: Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America all in one game (I mean, what else could you dream of?) and awesome bosses Dr. Doom and Thanos. It's loaded with awesome special moves. It has interactive stages and beautiful graphics :) Maybe the game is a bit unfair at times (might happen that CPU blocks all your moves in some rounds) and no matter what you do, you just can't win. Most of all I like to play against human opponent ;)

@@Retroconsole I wasn't old enough to be a conscious gamer till maybe 1997. My first games were Prince 2, and Abuse! I tried Grim Fandango shortly after but as a 6 year old I couldn't figure anything out, lol

The answer is, there is no why! It is exactly as indiscriminate, exactly as random as what caused AM to live. Because AM can only be, with no why to support it, it has taken five at random of the things which made him live to get them as close as possible to being without a why. Look at the comment section! This is not only my opinion. And even today, nearly 30 years later I can confirm that Sega's versions (both Genesis and 32x) are better than Super Nintendo's version. Most of the stages such as Armory Stage, Wasteland, Kombat Tomb, Portal Stage look better on Sega, Soundtracks are better on Sega and most importantly it really plays better, more responsive and less lags...
