Thank you for sharing your story, i have a question, for your second pregnancy did you take the progesterone shots and were you give antibiotics after the second cerclage? I’m in my second pregnancy and I have to go for a preventative cerclage and I want to take all precautions

After cerclage, you mentioned that you did not let the doctors do vaginal ultrasound. How about checking the cervix? In my last pregnancy, they did vaginal ultrasound and also used a Pap smear like tool to check my cervix. I had an emergency cerclage at 15 weeks, we lost our baby at 21 weeks. I’m trying to find what can I do to prevent any pressure to cervix next time. Please advise on how your doctors checked/measured your cervix after cerclage.

Thanks for sharing this video ! I have a similar case as yours and would like to ask you about the bed rest . My doc did not suggest complete bed rest but recommended to not perform any strenuous activity / pelvic rest / no heavy lifting and no long walks. I am scared to even walk for 10 mins . Please share your journey about the resting part post the procedure like how much did you walk , were you doing normal household chores (cooking etc.) .

I just had emergency cerclage at 20w, I was completely open by the time of surgery and because of that I was ordered strict bed rest for the next 8 weeks minimum. Basically putting no pressure on the cervix so I cannot even sit straight but only lean back. I think it does depend how serious your situation was, mine due to full opening ended up being worse that what they originally thought.

After cervix stitched, Can normal delivery is possible?
@akbelb8165

Yes! I delivered naturally twice after having a cerclage in pregnancy. The contractions though for me were unbareable compared to my first 2 births. The gyno said it can be scar tissue from the cerclage that causes more pain when contracting

I am 19 weeks pregnant and I underwent cerclage yesterday. Until this afternoon, I experienced only spotting. However, upon returning home from the hospital this evening, I noticed cramping and brown-red sticky bleeding. Is this normal, or should I seek immediate attention from my gynecologist?

Hi I'm going to go get my breast implants looked at my right is higher than my left and it looks like a baseball. I had it done in 2006. I know way to long and I'm really scared. Going under is really scarey. Plus after I may not have new implants put in still thinking on this. I'm scared how I'm going to look after. Any suggestions on this? Thank you

Thank you so much for your video 🥹 I am having bed rest since 2nd month until now to my 7th month of pregnancy. I know how hard it is. There are times I feel afraid and very emotional because I really want to save my baby. All my life I have been an independent and strong woman but now I am dependent on my family because I cannot do plenty of things anymore. I just keep on praying that I will deliver a healthy and fully developed baby soon.. I hope all of us in this situation will have a successful delivery soon and happily taking care of our miracle baby. ❤🥰 God bless us all.. 😇🥰

I just had mine removed today at 34 +6 after having it put in at 21 weeks. I'm so glad it is out as my baby is pushing down so hard it was getting really uncomfortable. I have some cramping and bleeding. Just looking forward to having my baby boy here safely after having 5 children ... 2 of which were born premature at 24 weeks and 27 weeks.

I just had my cerclage yesterday at 20 weeks and was 1cm dilated with .84cm of cervix left to sew. Praying everything goes well and we make it as far as possible. Mama's on here, and you, Joelle, were you on bedrest, and if so, for how long? The doctor that did mine said she doesn't recommend bedrest after the hospital stay, but I am wary and plan on doing modified anyway.
