I really appreciate you posting these vidoes on this job. I parked my 1981 380SE 5 years ago due to an engine tick/ clank noise. Now 5 years later and more mechanical knowledge and the help of your videos I feel confident tackling this job! Thank you so much. Nobody else has made such an in-depth video on this.

I really hope you crimped the timing chain links with the crimper tool. DO NOT RUN YOUR ENGINE WITH THOSE C CLIPS HOLDING THE LINK!!!

What forums do you read up on. I have a 560sec that needs a new engine. Your video has been very helpful, I have to do the valve stem seals in my 500se 🙏🏼. Thanks

I like the fact that you also show your “mistakes” during these videos and not cut them out like most people do. I hope you did’t ruin your cam and followers already, there is a special procedure for running in a new cam.

Hi thanks for your comments. I kept everything in so others will hopefully not make the same mistakes! I wasn't aware of the running in process but so far so good. Feel free to share it on here for others if you want to.

Hi Tony, thanks for sharing your journey witj your w126. I have to do mine as well. Why did you not also replace the ball sutds aka hydraulic lifters since you also replaced all the rocker arms?

Hi. If I'm honest I missed it. When the car was running there was no noticeable noise from any of them so I never gave it another thought, which hopefully won't come back to bite me! Luckily no issues so far but as you suggest probably best to do it, just make sure you check the clearances etc. Good Luck!
