At this moment , my friend and I were being chased by security on horseback after jumping the wall of the showgrounds cause we didn't have tickets . Hearing Perry Farrell's singing when you're on acid and being chased by a guy on a horse through the maze of the old Sydney showgrounds was quite the experience . The things you do when you're young . PS , , we got away .

What a absolute treat this is. My goodness gracious. You have the view of a lifetime @BassGuitarLife. I am at awe with the ability to see from your point of view the band that rocks the house even for the kids. Bravo to you and Red Het Chili Peppers forever. I imagine you were on fire with Flea playing right in front of you.

WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THIS MAN'S DEATH??
@spaghettiopizza86862 жыл бұрын
he had years-undiagnosed bipolar disorder and he stopped taking his meds (lithium) because it made his arms numb, making it impossible for him to play his instrument. he was also a drug addict. he was trying to get into a club while on the influence and “got into a fight” with the bouncer (got pushed over and hit his head very badly) and died in hospital. it’s a very sad death. i just hope he was at least semi content with the good he had done while he was here

No the bouncer acutually beat him into a coma then then doctors said his head was like fractured and he died to his wounds

Apparently his signature fretless bass was stolen before he filmed this bass instructional series and had to use this one instead, but all of his 'hallmarks' are still there.

It’s not about the instrument. He stills sounds like jaco without the jaco bass

No, it wasn't. It was stolen around mid-1986. I think he didn't use it here because it was being repaired, but I can't remember for sure.
