i saw indeed a stream from a german guy that had exact the same issue that you show here. he could not start the car and he thinks he pressed start and turned actually car off because car is always on then the race start so it just needs 1gear and go… but if this happens to other ones maybe something is wrong?
@andrewhounsome5969Ай бұрын
Yeah, there is clearly something pretty wrong because once you've actually started moving on that formation lap it shouldn't be possible to go back to the pits and start from there. This guy actually won the race. He was on pole but caused carnage for me (I was second) and 5 others, all of whom were disqualified for being out of position or erratic driving because he had disappeared from the grid so we had no poleman to follow.
@old-simracing-rookieАй бұрын
@@andrewhounsome5969 damn. should be reported. the guy that had this on his stream was somewhere in the middle so i guess where was no further impact but i believe it was not only him but also 3 more drivers in front of him waiting for green green green

Hi Andrew congratulations for the videos. in 2023 I went to t 21 tavano, in 2025 I would like to go to t 17 or t 18 reserved for ACO members. But my fear is that those blue columns limit the view from both stands. what do you recommend? Daniel

Highly likely. It's the mentality that puzzles me. He could have just followed me through the Ford Chicane (I might have made a mistake, who knows?) and he would still have got 8th. But he'd rather trash both of our races. But I still got the place and he DNF'd which was fair. However I lost 5.4% of my SR. He was (predictably) SRB0 anyway, so probably didn't have very much to lose! ;)

@@andrewhounsome5969 well if you mean you made a mistake then eventually cause you went to close and he was driving anyway very unstable… but again track is not 30m wide there haha!

I just gave myself a bit of a break from LMU, only to go back to rF2 (my beloved rF2) which I had abandoned since LMU. Downloaded a few mods and even got SimHub (overlay) working. It looks more like LMU´s HUD now. Also did some experimenting with the Oreca 07 at Spa to see how much different It Is from LMU. I am happy to say they are not to far apart! Really don´t know why some of the new to LMU find rF2 so different! Cheers!

I normally write the whole thing and put all the photos in and leave the videos until last, however this time I'm adding the videos to each page as I go. So as I've only just done Saturday 9th June, I guess the answer is 'no'.... Sunday's scrutineering videos will all be up today, with luck. Nice footage. But I hate that corner. Original there was a straight from the Dunlop bridge to the Esses. Where the new corner is was the site of the fairground. It was the most atmospheric part of the track, especially during the night. In 2002 they built this new corner because the FIM want another entry to the Bugatti Circuit. The fairground is now near the kart track on a sterile part of the circuit. For me, Le Mans lost a bit of it's magic with the move of the fairground from it's traditional site.
@andrewhounsome59698 жыл бұрын
+Circuits of the past I couldn't agree with you more. I've been to Le Mans every year since 1986 and the change on the run down to the Esses was even worse than adding the chicanes to the Mulsanne Straight. :(
