Sadly no - I came here searching for this melody, having seen a documentary about North Korea where this song was played at the beginning and the end. It's called "North Korea - Desperate or Deceptive". I will repeat your question... Pls, anyone know this title?

I;ve been playing rock, jazz and blues for over 45 years...man, I'm old...but...this woman is incredible. Coming from a purely musicians point of view, she has incredible technique. She could hold her own with the worlds foremost musicians. I wish I could go somewhere where I live and sit, and listen to someone like this. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF TOP CALIBER MUSICIANS THAT PLAY THIS INSTRUMENT THAT TOUR THE WORLD. IF THEY DID, THEY WOULD SURELY COME TO SAN FRANCISCO..I WOULD GO THERE TO SEE

@TaichouInkei The GuZheng is actually the origin of all of these zithers. Then came the Kayagum and then the koto. Very cool how they're all similar yet very different.

@jackjohnsonsonson I'm pretty sure this pre-dates the piano.

That is neat o.O looks like a cousin instrument of the Zheng and koto.. well played too.

looks more like it's taking on the base clef notes, not unlike one would do on a piano with their left hand.

this is awesome! i wonder what song this is, whenever kayagum is heard in the DPRK (north korea), you always hear this song played
@josephferrerosa3415 жыл бұрын
she's playing a 24-stringed Kayagum, only found in North Korea. =) In terms of music they are one of the best!
@josephferrerosa3415 жыл бұрын
she's finding microtones to slightly bend the notes between, for example, E and F
