The reason that arrow stopped has nothing to do with what kind of broad head, but actually with the fact that the arrow stopped in The off side shoulder. You can tell because the back end of the arrow is vibrating like it got shot into a stump or something

I can’t help but sit in the stand and think he’s sitting there with me like he was when I was 7 years old, me and him were sitting there in a ladder stand trying to make something happen. Man sure do miss it wish sometimes time could go back just for a second so you can relive those memories. All the junior hunts he’d check me out of school so we could dip out on my mom for the weekend and me and him go do us hunt all weekend.

My dad has always been my hunting buddy. He showed me how to be self sufficient, build a tent city that’d hold a group of men over for weeks, fix trucks in no man’s land with garbage and hope, stalk deer, butcher venison, call turkeys, rip lips in mountain lakes that haven’t seen man’s hand in months. This year he couldn’t even draw his bow. Things aren’t looking great. I haven’t really processed it yet. This one was a punch in the gut.

If you don’t value your time then hunting can cost less per lb. Don’t get into hunting to save money. You can work a weekend, make a minimum of $200 and buy lots of meat. Just saying. Get into hunting for hunting. For wild meat. Invest in it. Enjoy it.
