I diagree with the comparison between the "people on rails" and "organ donor" thought experiments, as far as equating them is concerned. My reasoning is this: the "train tracks" experiment presents a scenario where people are under a pre-meditated man-made threat (basically terrorism). The second though experiment presents a medical emergency. That in mind the first experiment is handled much like a police/military situation where the key concept is "minimizing casualties", as as far as the experiment's constraints go - the only sensible choice is choosing the least casualties possible. The second experiment on the other hand is a medical emergency where having an organ donor be murdered for organs is a much greater crime than having organ reciepients die if the donor is not murdered. To receive organs due to an illness (any illness) is not a human right, not being murdered for organs however is. Hence, the purely "how many people should survive" is entirely depending on the scenario, and can not possibly be based solely on numbers surviving alone.

She is so right I'm obsessed with the problem after 4 miscarriages. First thought fãs progesterone. The ugly GP couldn't prescribe. Só I got FROM Spain but didn't work. Was taking aspirin. Didn't work. Another doc told to give a break after the third miscarriage the whole.process took an year. Seeing a consultant after the third miscarriage. .... If you do have a second miscarriage. Please look for Dr Siobhan. Don't wait for consultants who follow books and have a 80k salary without really being interested in you
