Am 17 years old apply for my passports since July 27, 2024. Now it October 28, 2024 they keep sending me back the same letter over and over which. I don't have those information. Can you please tell me what to do because I always reply back to them and am turning 18 soon.

If there is just a small trace of glue, really tiny, on an empty visa page, do I have to worry about traveling and replacing it, it is an empty page. All my information, Visa, and cover are intact and all alright.

What about Gender? When I filled out the form "About Applicant" section I selected the right sex & changing Gender marker box. Then I checked that there is an error. (My sex in my passport has a F, instead of M.) So when I checked the error was my sex it had an X on M. When I mail in the forms with my Birth Certificate. Will it be Corrected? (Sorry for the long Comment.)

Is best to apply in person because your gonna get the most information in person and most likely theres gonna be something you dont understand so is best to do it in person

New applications (first passports, child passports, replacement of lost/damaged passports) are always submitted in person since the form needs to be adjudicated by a passport agent. However, for renewals, it has to be done by mail unless you require urgent service at a regional passport agency.

I signed my child’s full name and my signature BUT I wrote (mother) on top of signature because I didn’t have enough space. I was so nervous that I had to call immigration and asked if how I did it was ok. The agent said it was fine and I shouldn’t worry about it but I still do because every agent is different. Will we be ok?

I'm still confused as to how it was misspelled with a valid birth certificate and copy of your ID. And now I have to resend the birth certificate again, and wait again. And you have to pay to get it sooner because of an error. Ya I don't have a lot of faith here.

You aren't the only one! same thing happened to me and now I have to wait potentially 8 weeks to get my birth certificate again and apply again and wait. I wish there was a more efficient way :(

@@Blast. I think it took another 4 or 5 weeks, but from my understanding the times are taking longer now. That just might be for the dept. that does the original paperwork and not the corrections dept.

Yes, send it to Philidelphia and it will sit at Philadelphia mail distribution center for days (more than seven). I'm still waiting for my app and passport to be delivered.
