This was so short but motivating. Entrepreneurship is NUTS! Lots of ups and downs but like Marie Forleo said, if we focus on the actions and not the results (which is freakin hard because you know.... hunger and homelessness are real things), then we would be more satisfied with our purpose (okay definitely paraphrasing here). Going to check out the other ladies now.

Why is it that black Americans are always saying that blacks do not go for counseling? How do you know what other people do? You cannot speak for others. Christ! Speak for yourself, not others.

I love this interview. It is amazing how abusive behaviors are broken down. From observation, abusive behavior seeks for an an environment that will allow it to grow. Sometimes, it looks for dark places to grow, like a mushroom or carrots grow underground, but they do grow. With or without other people seeing the results until they are fully grown. Other times, these behaviors may be allowed to grow in an open environment, such as how "racism in the South" was able to flourish openly, at times in history. It is the same abusive spirit, although, it may have an excuse to thrive. All in all, it is a predatory spirit, so many times, the abuser, and the abused are subjects to it.

You lose yourself in bondage. Once out, don't go back. If you do, then you choose him over God. God does not want His children in situations of suffering, pain, sacrificing your self. Turmoil! There is an explanation to help those in need to think things through.

I truly understand about having that feeling when thinking about going to work. My next job shall be My fiance and My Business. I've been giving my all to these companies that I feel did not appreciate it so now I am focused on what I feel like is My calling. So good luck to you and you are blessed to be able to leave a job without hard feelings because it does not always work out that way.

She's right, some "studs" learn the game and mistreat women too. I had a friend who did that. Nobody deserves to be hurt, but from a Christian perspective, if you're in a same sex relationship, you are not in God's will anyway. So, if you are truly following and seeking Christ and find yourself trying to live a gay lifestyle, it won't work anyway, even if the issue is not abuse. We want to live by God's word. In regard to the heterosexual relationships, if you are seeking God's will, you have to listen to His voice. He will tell you who not to engage with. Unfortunately, sometimes we override what God is saying, and that's always dangerous. I've been there; not to the extent of abuse, but God was clearly saying no.

If babies recognize shouting as not norm then adults know what abuse and abnormal is.
