Husqvarna 545 chainsaw the shaft is hollow on the clutch side and has a small, lateral hole that leads to the bearing, so can pump a little grease into the end of the shaft and out to the bearing. Your 455 there is no has grease hole.

Very much appreciated the video after pieces sprung out while taking the handle apart. Thanks. All the triggers work except my STOP button. Could not start the engine and the STOP but now has no resistance. Could I have disassembled the STOP button during the process. No mention of it in the video.

The fault is either in the stopswitch or the short-circuit cable. Change the switch as needed and inspect the cableinsulation for damage.

Generally after a good usage it is better to add grease. Be it any machinery where ever, you see the grease screws make an habit to add grease. This will help you with smooth performance and great quality to the engine

Thank you for the video ! I got new Husqvarna 555 RXT. And I noticed that the gearbox is hitting too much. Fortunately I use the machine only maybe half an hour. I did add grease lubricant. The instructions are very vague. Can it be too much grease ? I had so much that gears are flooded…

@@AutoTuneTM Thank you for answering ! It is a regular head for weed. Is this fitted correctly. That is my third trimmer. Before Husqvarna I had MTD trimmer. It was a good and strong trimmer. But unfortunately, I can’t get parts for it… I think I bought it in 2008.

There are no rocks on the surface so it is possible to cut without the plastic shield. It just makes work slower.

Many saws of multiple brands do NOT have a grease hole in center of crankshaft. That hole in center of crankshaft is for tooling center point for lathe that makes crankshaft only. Pump in grease = no grease comes out side of crankshaft to go into needle bearings. A good practice is take off clutch, drum, needle bearing to find out yes or no does your saw have the greasing feature that is shown in this video. No hole in end AND side of crankshaft = no grease feature upgrade.

What tubes are you talking about? The normal action is to buy a new hoses and replace it.

@@AutoTuneTM The pipe that goes from the carburetor to the petrol tank, I used a poor amount of oil to make the 2-stroke mixture and I would like to clean the pipes from oil residues in the mixture, and I was wondering how to do it, if it is convenient with a syringe, detaching the pipe from the carburetor and pushing diesel fuel up to the tank

Way too long for what was shown. Just say upfront that a proper size of file used in an outward filing motion and correct angle will sharpen all surfaces of the tooth, otherwise you'll mess up a portion of the cutting surface. All that other jazz about the angle of this and that surface is distracting and unnecessary. Maybe a bit more about the "depth gauges" and how/why they need to be maintained. It's only a dumb question if you already know the answer. Otherwise, very good video - nicely done.
