How is possible to retard inlet valves in high rpm? High rpm need more overlap.

I used to be the assembly guy at a dealership in the 80's. They came in wooden crates.

It needs 19/17 tubeless tyres for us who do not care about off road.

What is the min octane the bike calls for? Are we stuck with premium fuel like the 1050?

While I understand the economics of going to a parallel twin engine, the v-twin was unique among Japanese bikes in this class. Sad to see it go.

It will be the bike to have over everything else once again when it comes standard with a turbo or supercharger. My money patiently waits.

The original had an aluminum frame. How is the steel frame of the new one an improvement 😂 Power output is lower than a 20 year old Honda Hornet and the brakes are basic. Not to talk about the very basic forks.

Way to go Suzuki! I think you hit a home run here. IMO it's a stunningly beautiful machine and the price is very competitive. Killer engine, awesome tech and the phone connectivity with the new Suzuki MYSPIN app seems very promising. A+

I love Suzukis more than anyone but I'm having trouble with the latest design language I've been seeing. Suzukis have always had a unique look, a family resemblance if you will, but the new GSX-S1000 line is losing the plot. The naked looks like a KTM and if this GT didn't have a SUZUKI badge on it, I'd swear it was a Yamaha! I'm just thankful that the new Hayabusa didn't show up looking like a ZX14R...
