Sadly the guy who is yelling Jersey girl as Bruce was trying to remember the words to the song Freehold, truly just dosent get it. Its embarrassing and annoying. Talk about not having a clue about the moment.

NUGS did absolutely nothing to make this sound good, horrible mix, dry and flat sound and a jailed snare drum in solitary confinement!

I was 16 when this LP came out. Impressionable teenager and all that. But F*** me an LP cannot possibly make more of an impression. 52, I still listen to my vinyl copy, my boys and my wife love it, so glad to find a live version of it. My eldest brother, 23 at the time, saw him at Wembley - as an older brother that's 1-0 to him and hasn't he ever let me know about it. I couldn't bl**dy help it! Mum and dad wouldn't let me down the pub (although I did) let alone go from Bristol to London in them days. I'd love to see him play this track, and others from this LP, but guess I never will. I've reconciled mysxelf to that. In some ways, Bruce is such a dude he'll know we're out there, fans of his who can't make his magnificent 3 hour shows. Doesn't diminish one iota the love and admiration I have for him. When I read more aabout what he was going trhough at the time, from one love to another, this LP makes so much sense as I began to hopelessly (and I mean hopelessly!!) fall in love with girls (all of whom were a stratosphere above my little station) and re-imagine my position in life. Now, aged, 52 (did I mention that??!!) and married to the most beautiful and wonderfully understanding woman of my dreams, and having two gorgeous 10 and 6 year old boys, I can finally listen to this LP and live versions of the songs, and feel so happy having them in our house. Think Bruce might quite like our story arc. XX

I really like this song. Never heard it before. Filled with emotion. Love the lines “rest easy, sleep well my friend, it’s only are bodies that betray us in the end”. I also recognized the ending music as Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire.

“Man turn’s his back on his family, well he just ain’t no good.” I’m pondering who Springsteen is talking about here. I don’t think he is talking about Frankie.

Do you possibly have this album in rar or zip format? I recently lost everything in a house fire, and I can't find this anywhere to replace my copy lost in the fire. If you would be willing to share, I would be emensley greatful

Right! How dare he speak his opinions. Who does he think he is? Where does he think he is, in the land of the free and home of the brave? What does he think, he's in the land where the freedom of peaceful political dissent is built into the fabric of the national psyche?. And I mean, it's not like he's speaking in protest of a pathological liar, con-artist, seditionist criminal, right?
