The clutch used to pop out my CJ wheeling over obstacles at certain angles. I replaced the motor mounts, problems solved.

Stock jeeps created the rubicon. Now days it seems you need 37s and locker just to order coffee at Starbucks.

Just installed mine. Thanks for the tips. I used a nutsert tool right off the bat. The little tool they include is too cumbersome. My only problem with these is a single hole in the rear fender flares. It definitely needs enlarged. In my case it was the fourth one from the back counting up (the one at the top). Over all, a great improvement to the look of my JK and happy these are so darn cheap compared to other options out there.

You have to keep the rust dust out of your metal can. It can and will go right thru a fuel filter and into all the passages in the carb. I clean my cans with muriatic acid followed by baking soda and lots of rinsing. Don't let the cans set empty.

Jeep Jamboree USA require GMRS radios in all Jeeps for the Rubicon Trail. GMRS is becoming the Off Road standard and licensing is easy! The "unofficial" channel for Off Roading is "16" (4x4). Lots of available radios and hand held units.

Which one is better and brughter on high speed driving combo or wide cornering
@jeepzentoks5422 жыл бұрын
It’s all preference really. However if you plan to use it on road, I don’t think wide cornering is legal. You should find out with your local area. These lights are bright and awesome.

I wish the forestry service would replace the yellow reflective trail markers that have been damaged and are now missing. I went in by myself the first time and got lost looking for where the trail may be in a couple of spots. Maybe next spring, when I go down into the Rubicon again, I'll bring a bunch of yellow reflectors and epoxy them on myself.
@jeepzentoks5422 жыл бұрын
I don’t recommend going out there alone, but be careful and be safe if you do. Yea when we where up there there was a few spots we didn’t know where the trail was.

I'm curious about the miner figure on " Poppy's " hood. I have the CJ5 that my uncle bought new in 73 and it has the same gold panning man on the hood, I'd ask him but he's gone now and this is the first time I'd seen another one. His jeep has been all over the Rubicon way back in the day, When I was a very small boy him and his buddies were out every weekend.
@jeepzentoks5422 жыл бұрын
I think she got the jeep with that figure on it already. The CJ5 is such a beautiful piece of machinery.
