I like how they spared no expense on the certain parts like the shifter and engine components but left other parts tattered. It's a functional ride, no worries about scratching the paint or anything like that, just cruise that baby. I was waiting for them to hit the switches to see how well the bags worked.

What a car! It's beautiful! What radiator did you use? I'm building a 1929 low traditional and barely have room to run a rad!

Always loved the '59 Buick. I remember when these were still on the road, when you were behind them the fins & tail lights looked so good. Love the black paint, too bad they made the interior white & scarlet (yech!). Bergundy or black would have looked wicked!

Love the 59s. However, this looks like dated work. My favorite is Kindig's Blue Suede Shoes.

My first auto show was the 1962 New York International Auto Show at New York Coleseum at Columbus Circle at 59th St.and Broadway with my father. We went there by subway and changed trains at Times Square. By the time we got to the 4th floor Iwas tired and sat down by the turntable. When cars still had streamlined windshields and tailfins. When America was America and NYC was NYC. MAD MEN era.
