I found that after I did the video :) I agree much more excited about the pen case, it's beautiful. Was your pen case also blue or did you get a different color? As for the pen so far the writing is ok not my favorite pen but not horrible either if that makes sense. Maybe I need to use it a bit more or try some different inks in it.

I agree I try really had to figure it out and usually I can but this box I just don't know. It's still a good value I'm just confused. Usually with the cost it is for sure the max price they can sell something for but it still doesn't add up but maybe I'm missing something. I should send a pm to goldspot as see what they say.

Thank you...It turned into one of my favorite spreads I've done this year which surprised me.

I got one after this as a gift from the company and the inks had the brands on them. I got July's as well...came last night so I haven't opened it but I'm hopeful it was a lasting change. I really do think this is a fun idea. I do love the pen still even with it's stains...it adds character or so I'm telling my self.

I love this so much! I'm so happy you got one as well. The Juno is also on my wish list though the new Pilot Vanishing Point (Seashore) is at the top of that list so it might need to wait a bit but really for the price these pens are amazing and I just love all my Benus.

I think it was a good experiment even if it didn't come out quite the way I envisioned. I need to try a few more things with this ink... I thnk I could use it to do clouds by painting with it...clouds shouldn't be that hard right lol :) Thank you for always commenting and being so sweet.

That's so amazing!!! You've got this! Thank you for all the kind words, I'm really enjoying the goal setting right now, I think it's helping me see that I am accomplishing things which I think we all need to see. It also forces me to slow down and really look at life and not just go through the motions. I am on the mend :) and so grateful to all the dr and my family for the support they have given me. @@Adventuresover40 I’ll do a video trying different fountain pens but so far (mind you that’s all of two days) I haven’t had any issues. Both days I’ve written have been with a fine tip so I’ll have to get back to you on a medium nib on this paper. I did also try doing some ink splotching / swatching on the days journaled and didn’t see anything of note other than wearinguels Wendy is really pretty when you do that lol. I totally agree with the expense is really high, I’ve heard there are some other brands that are similar but cheaper but I need to do research to find the names. - maybe a future project. Honestly I only have two besides the ones I got in the box and those were both gifts from a dear friend.

So far I'm really loving!! It really does feel like the perfect size pen for me, with the right amount of pizazz to fit my shimmer ink addiction.

Agree there is just something so fun about playing with new inks. I umm may have sorta placed a new order for samples today. They came out with new inks and I just want to try them all 😂

@@MyMagicalPlanner I like the samples that Goulet pens has (they have ones like Sailor that others don't) but Ive been getting mine from Vanness because not only do they have a huge selection but you get a larger sample size. I am excited to see the new inks you are getting. Probably my favorite kind of video to watch. 😊

They have some inks that goulet doesn’t carry and yes the samples being bigger are nice especially if you’re filling without a syringe….i really struggled filling a few pins this month, see todays video :) I’m excited for the new inks too :)

So far: Diamine Masquerade; Birmingham's ploughman's pebble; Wearingeul Mad Hatter; J. Herbin Bleu Myostis; Sailor Kitsune Biyori; Colorverse A PSC. Muted colors (but not light) I would say. How about you?

@@Journalesq I think Canon Ball is how we all start lol, I've only been at this a little over a year I think. I'm writing down those inks to add to ones to try :) So far my favorite inks have been: Diamine Jack Frost (it smears easy but flow and color are so beautiful), Coververse Tar Heel, Robert Oster Pink Squirrel, Wearingul Caption Hook and Tic Toc Crock, and the newest to the list is Colorverse Witch by Starlight and probably storied blue but I just started using them both this month. I keep wanting to love Ferris Wheel Press inks but they just don't perform for me as well as other inks for the most part...maybe I'm not pairing them with the right pens.

Thank you for telling me your thoughts. I've been sitting here going am I being to picky, have I turned into a Karen. I'm starting to look into other companies to possibly replace this sub because I'm just not sure how I feel about the having to wait 60 days since the last time the post office touched it for the refund. When something like this has happened in the past and it can be verified by tracking number the company has just sent out a new package so it just feels weird.

It was so sad because the kit for last month was adorable with kites. I'm just on the fence honestly. I get the their side a little but having operated a photography business for a bit I also know you need to build this kind of outcome into your pricing. So y90ou charge 3x what it cost you to account for the creative process and enough that you can replace the product without eating into the cost to you. I feel the prices are high enough they should account for that but I'm not their business so maybe its different. I think the sticking point is the 60 days since the last day the post office touched the package before they will issue the refund. I've never had to wait that long for a refund. Which actually means it will be closer to 75 or 80 days from the point where I payed for it. It was also unclear about shipping I think I would have had to pay shipping to send back the kit if it ever showed up and also shipping again if I decided to buy anything at the 40% off. I feel a bit like a Karen but I'm just so disappointed in their reactions honestly. I've lost I think one sub before a year or so and that company verified with the tracking that it didn't show up and just sent me a new kit. I'm starting to look at new places for a sub because I'm just not sure how I feel about it even though I've loved doing the spreads (thank you so much for the compliment) and think the kits are well designed.

It sounds like they're treating you like a liar and that just doesn't sit right. :( You're absolutely right that a business should build this kind of thing into their pricing; especially to build customer trust. A customer generally doesn't go shopping with the idea that they may lose their money on a missing package or I'd never shop online again. And 60 (80) days is waaaay too long to be holding your money.

But I only ordered after Tom Oddo revealed it. I thought the cobalt ink looked too much like ball point pen. I'm enjoying the evergreen in it now, but my pen has more green & yellow green with pockets of sparkly blue & green.

@@NameLikeNobodyElse well I do love an Esterbrook :) I liked the fact that they seem to put some real thought into what inks they send with the pens but the inks have just been so so for me because I like my over the top inks. They aren’t bad just nothing special for me. I love the variations within the pen designs as far as color. Soo you didn’t say how do you like the pen? It’s made its way to the top of the list of pens I own but curious what others think of it.

@@MyMagicalPlanner I was going through a phase of wanting & getting all kinds of pens & have finally gotten back to it. I started with the cobalt ink & quickly put it down at first, being a purple lover myself, but I was inspired when I recently put the green ink in. I now describe it as a petite lady's pen and I'm starting to see that it has a softer nib than my other pens. Mine is a silver Fine nib. The more I use it, the more I'm getting into the beautiful resin & sparkling spots of glitter. When I paint, I use a lot of blue & green mixes so it gets me. It's a lighter weight pen, so I had to get over that. I fell in love with the TWSBI Vac 700R in Iris, which has some weight to it. She was my first big deal pen so I tend to weigh other pens against her. All that said, I'm glad I got the mystery dip. It was a fun process, even tho I knew what it was b4 I ordered, and it stands out from everything else in my collection. It is a nice little pen, after I worked the scratch out of the fine nib. I do enjoy the whole writing experience now when I use it.

Well that would have made total sense lol next time I'll try to remember and do that. Thank you nails and stationary are my guilty pleasures.
