Same results as you Don, no issue on my Black Plastic trim. Have you tried a Microfiber bonnet on your pad to remove the wax? After every wash I use the flex wax as a drying aid..For longer lasting resullts apply it after you dry car. In between washes I use TW Hybrid Pure Shine Misting Detailer its infused with Graphene. I also did all my glass with the paste wax, no issues.

You can wax it on glass, but you need to wait 24-48 hours for it to cure, it has different curing times on different surfaces, I applied some on the windshield, then sprayed water on there, The same day, and the same time, coating stripped off like nothing, however, I applied on it again, waited 5 minutes then buffed it off and polished it, waited 24 hours, came back and wiped it again (because there’s a slight Haze of the wax left I didn’t clean properly) then I sprayed water on it, it beads like crazy, then I tried using chemicals to test it’s chemical resistance, still didn’t come off. I tried it on a normal glass panel too just to point out and prove that it works, although I waited 48 hours on this (because I was busy) came back home then tried water, beads better tust the windshield application because I waited more, has more chemical resistance than than the windshield too. So for instance you need to wait 48 hours for the ceramic coating to cure just like the real ceramic coatings. Some require 24 hours and some 48 hours or more.

I have a few more expensive paste waxes, from $50, to a couple just aver $100, and this is by far my favorite. The sad thing is that I've seen this wax on the store shelves for several years, and passed on it from my past experience working with the old school Turtle wax. Then one day while visiting my cousin, and he was waxing his truck, I was amazed at just how easy it was to work with this wax, I order my own jar right on the spot. I've been using stainless steel hair wax removal spatulas, you get like three of them for less than $7. Any other spatula would just tempt me to use them on other project, and just my luck I'd end up contaminating a jar of wax. But ya, this stuff is such a pleasure to work with, it's nothing like what I remembered from waxes of the past.

@DetailedbyDon Thinking of trying this protection on my car, but don't have a garage so need as little cure time as possible before it can take some rain just in case. Looking for a protection that actually works on my car, having huge problems finding anything that doesn't die on my car within a few weeks. That has been keeping me away from real ceramics since it's really expensive if it fails after 3 weeks, but with this I atleast have more applications out of it.

@DetailedbyDon5 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for the critique. As this was my very first time doing a complete enhancement with the rotary, I expected to have shortcomings. I too feel that I was doing too large of an area - carryover from years of using a DA. Plus I found that I needed to reduce the amount of product significantly as compared to a DA. I also bought a different rotary - one that's a LOT lighter, newer and does not have the 'handguard" (for lack of a better term) around the handle, which made it difficult to keep the polisher level as it was way too close to the panel.
