Feel like maybe you were overcomplicating the mushrooms. As far as I remember it's just whatever direction you were holding when you hit the mushroom is the direction you bounce. I think the controls in this game actually flow really nicely once you get used to them. What helped me with a controller is just using left on the dpad and the rightmost button on the face buttons, and never move from those. That was you're never having to fight your instinct to quickly, say, tap right on the dpad. After a while it becomes second nature and I could control this game just like any other platformer.

been looking forward to this title, but I don't like that it's going to be f2p (sure they say no p2w, we'll see) with a Pay'ta Test with a wipe on launch like this... Probably will just wait to see what it's like when f2p.

The village and the UI for gear & menu look really cute and nice. But, combat looks boring.. Is it just me?

I'm glad both for you showcasing this game and KZbin recommending it to me! It definitely borrows from Captain America And The Avengers on NES combat and mechanics wise but expanded it with that bullet ricochet and incline shield sliding ability that builds momentum for higher/faster jumps. The pixel art is so tidy and colorful without overly relying on parallax scrolling just for the sake of being able to do it without hardware restrictions and the level design is very clever. I went ahead and added this to my Steam wishlist to support whoever this Shiny Byte Studio is and play the full game whenever it's released. Thanks! 😎

Press Y on keyboard and make an axe and use it 10x better then sledge go thru all the mini quests first line and when you have done them head to the trader on map , to get plant fibre punch the grass or use the axe you make

I think alot of people are so used to video, they don't understand how to maximize the potential of manga... essentially light novels are to manga , as manga is to anime, by which i mean, with light novels you mostly use your imagination to fill in the blanks of imagery, with manga you are given alot of panels for context and you are meant to use your imagination to fill in the action between panels. It doesn't matter that you "can't understand what's happening" in fights, you can fill in the gaps and they go on to match the next panel. Anime is exactly that, a group of people who are filling in the gaps between panels. Sure, they get clarity on certain aspects, but the mangaka isn't there the whole time describing how the action should go. Alot of it is interpretation, and in that respect your own interpretation is equally as valid

If you never got that crate behind the locked gate what you do is go above the elevator on the opposite side where the body core angel was and there up to the left of the elevator is a climp up spot to get above and get to that rope. It's a pair of glasses in the crate 2:03:27
